6. Communique – Gaza Child Killed by Hamas

January 3, 2013 14:30 by

Palestinian propagandists have never been shy about parading their dead, especially when the dead are children. But during Operation Pillar of Defense, the propagandists took it to a whole new level.

One of the most dramatic images of the entire conflict showed Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh holding a dead child, indicating that the child died as a result of an Israeli military strike.

Deeper inquiry into the event, however, revealed that Hamas itself was responsible for the child’s death when one of the rockets aimed for Israel failed to reach its destination and landed in a Palestinian area. Even Human Rights Watch agreed that Hamas was responsible for the death.

I’d be interested to know who has conducted a “deeper inquiry” into the story of the president of Hamas holding a dead child than the disgraced Human Rights Watch.

I’m sure I’d be amazed as to how “Honest Reporting” can be conducted under the caption “defending Isreal against media bias”. In my opinion the term “media bias” means a journalist letting his/her personal views distort the undiluted truth by reporting for the benefit of one side of the argument. If you’re “defending Israel” you’re not presenting informatino unbiased you are in fact biast and proud.

    Peace and love x
