The reason the BBC is being direct about where the violence originates from is its bias towards Israel. It recognises Israel as it has always done. It has difficulty in using the name Palestine as much of your commentators above have.
Your report is biased… the BBC favours Israel… as with all other zionist dominated media….
Israel is racist… it is not fair to compare it with South Africa as at least those racists did not hide their racism…. quit the victim mentality you adopt…. when you are the perpetuators of most modern crimes….
As for reporters with muslim names…. are you yanking my chain? Nearly all bbc reporters have jewish names… though they try hard to disguise them…

I’m not surprised at the unfortunately biased view of the BBC. How many British remember or even know that around the 15th century Jews were kicked out of Great Britain and not allowed to return for 300 years?
The Jews do not proselytize and take over as the British have often seemed proud to do. Israel just wants to live in peace. Countries and religions must realize this fact and respect it, rather than be jealous of it by demeaning Israel and the Jewish religion and culture. Jews have continually survived and contributed so much to the world for over 5,000 years, please let us continue to do this, peacefully. Or at least show us that you can at least try to attempt to do this.

To think that the BBC was once considered to be the epitome of just and balanced reporting on all things national and international.
The BBC uses tax payers/licence payers money to expound their disgraceful anti-Jewish sentiment. The truth is the BBC is terrified of offending Muslims – and so is unable to give any sort of balance in its reporting. It’s high time its licence was scrapped.

I don’t care how many ways and times the press leans backwards to show the Palestinians that they can receive and unbiased presentation of their cause, it’s not going to make the Palestinians want to live peacefully with Israel. The West’s fixation ontheIsreal/Palestinian problem is a diversion from the real problem of who really profits from middle-eastern oil sales. Billions of dollars have been paid to maintain the illusion that the profits go to the middle east which is not true.

The BBC is still angry at Israel for bombing the King David Hotel in Jerusalem in the 40′s. They were trying to negotiate a more stupid division of land than the mandate had already contrived. They were trying to look good to America and the Jews while creating a way to not get the Arabs angry at them. The same Arabs that slept with Hitler as American’s fought for England. Even now when Israel returned Gaza to the Pals, not Egypt as declared in the mandate, the BBC made the result the fault of England.
What happened to you guys? I am beginning to think I should start a propaganda story, Muslims own the media in Britain, they are rich and are always suing the Monarchy. Boy do they want that throne.

.. after the Barbara Plett debacle – where ‘she cried’ when seeing Arafats helicopter during his chaotic funeral, and, after so many complaints about the openly anti-semitic reporter Orla Guerin along with her compatriot the disgraceful Jeremy Bowen even the BBC decided they had gone too far so they began a plan of more subtle attacks upon the state of Israel – quieter yet more refined and relentless. No-one was to be exempt, politicians, academics, even the ordinary people and of course the ‘evil’ IDF (sic) all were to be targets for this new twist of the old knife.
The BBC have many employees who are all openly avowed enemies of Israel, Christianity and democracy of both the UK and the US. At the same time they play-act being ‘fair and benelovent’.
    They are a disgrace.
(I no longer watch any tv and do not give any money to a regime like this via the licence fee tax).

The BBC, Reuters, Associated Press, National Public Radio, CNN, AFP, CBC, NY Times, LA Times, Washington Post, Time magazine, Newsweek, The Economist, The Financial Times, Foreign Policy magazine, all exhibit the same pattern of anti-Israel/pro-Arab bias. The list could easily be longer, but you get the point. This is an enormous problem that few people are aware of, much less willing to combat. There is a magazine called Commentary that publishes pro-Israel essays. All of the local bookstores have stopped carrying it about one year ago.

I use to listen to the BBC every morning and watch it every evening. In the past year if I even hear it on I turn the radio or T.V. off, because it seems to be so biased against Irael. I have ceased donating to National Public Radio because of the Bias against Israel, and NPR’s use of the BBC for their National News. Now the facts are here to prove that my feelings and thoughts about BBC were well grounded.

You would expect readers of a Western news website to be informed of the facts of the middle east conflict.
The BBC “Have Your Say”‘s are monuments to the terrible job the BBC does in informing its readers of the facts.

In a moment of truth, if the manager of BBC were asked why this bias agains jews,he will answer: it is due to the fact that is exactly what Brits want to read
