AP’s Terror List Omits Israel
November 9, 2003 23:41 by ManagingTeamThe Associated Press released a list of “Recent Terror Attacks Around the World” (since 1998).
Not one terror attack is Israel is mentioned (though AP does note the attack on the Israeli-owned Paradise Hotel in Kenya). Why does AP go out of their way to avoid mention of Palestinian terrorism?
To correct the record: see Jacob Richman’s memorial to Israeli terror victims.

UPDATE: Reuters released a similar list on 11/9, and it also completely omits terrorism that occurred in Israel.

How revolting. When the victims are Israelis, it is somehow o.k. But Palestinians invented the suicide bomber- they should at least receive “credit” for this “invention” since it’s probably the only they’ve ever had.

I enjoyed leafing through your whole ‘one-years’ worth of pictures of world-events. However, in the 6 pictures that relate to conflict in Israel, the “AP picture-pickers” only see Arab interests and Arab injured people, for, they seem to be unable to see or to find Israeli injured and Israeli killed persons.
Are these the political statements of the employees or are these sales decisions by AP management? Your reply will be deeply appreciated.
