But Geneive Abdo is no fringe commentator. According to her own website:
During nearly a decade as a correspondent in the Islamic world, her work was featured in such publications as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, The Guardian, The Economist, and The International Herald Tribune. She has been a commentator on numerous news programs for the BBC, NPR, CNN and PBS.
Geneive Abdo’s despicable suggestion should disqualify her from working for such a prestigious list of media outlets.
That Eleanor Hall entertained Abdo’s conspiracy theory on live radio deserves a response. Please send your complaints through the ABC Complaints site - http://www.abc.net.au/contact/complain.htm. Select “Radio National” from the drop-down menu for ABC service, enter “The World Today” in the appropriate box and give the program date as Feb.14, 2012.
