Board of Deputies Rejects Boycott of The Guardian

January 16, 2012 14:03 by

The Board of Deputies of British Jews rejected a proposed boycott of The Guardian. According to the Jewish Chronicle, the motion

urged “all who oppose antisemitism to refrain from buying the Guardian or advertising in it”.

I understand the frustration behind the idea. Al-Guardian won HonestReporting’s 2011 Dishonest Reporting Award for an entire year’s worth of sloppy and slanted news and commentary far beyond any other paper.

And I’m not telling anyone how spend their money.

But once you cancel the subscription or advertising account, you have removed yourself from the argument.
