Hate Sheikh Fires Parting Shot in The Guardian

Raed Salah

Back in June 2011, Islamic Movement in Israel leader Sheikh Raed Salah was identified by the British government as a negative and extremist influence and banned from entering the country on a speaking tour, which included a meeting in the Parliament building itself. Somehow, the UK’s Border Agency failed to recognize Salah who arrived in Britain unimpeded until the police caught up with him later.

Salah has spent the last 10 months fighting deportation, finally winning his case, much to the disgust of the British government and organizations concerned with the Sheikh’s anti-Semitism.

Having just returned to Israel, Salah launches a tirade against Israel’s alleged mistreatment of its Arab citizens in The Guardian amid claims that “Israel’s cheerleaders in Britain will continue to smear my character.“:

My people – the Palestinians – are the longstanding victims of Israeli racism. Victims of racism, anywhere, should never condone or support the maltreatment of another people, as Israel does. …

Despite the Israeli policy of “transfer” – another term for ethnic cleansing – the Palestinians will not go away. The Israeli state can occupy our lands, demolish our homes, drill tunnels under the old city of Jerusalem – but we will not disappear. Instead, we now aspire to a directly elected leadership for Palestinians in Israel; one that would truly represent our interests. We seek only the legal rights guaranteed to us by international conventions and laws.

Here are but a few examples of why Salah’s presence in the UK was deemed by the government to be undesireable:

  • blood libel charge made during a speech in 2007 where he accused Jews of using children’s blood to bake bread?:

“We have never allowed ourselves to knead [the dough for] the bread that breaks the fast in the holy month of Ramadan with children’s blood,” he said. “Whoever wants a more thorough explanation, let him ask what used to happen to some children in Europe, whose blood was mixed in with the dough of the [Jewish] holy bread.”

A suitable way was found to warn the 4,000 Jews who work every day at the Twin Towers to be absent from their work on September 11, 2001, and this is really what happened! Were 4,000 Jewish clerks absent [from their jobs] by chance, or was there another reason? At the same time, no such warning reached the 2,000 Muslims who worked every day in the Twin Towers, and therefore there were hundreds of Muslim victims.

  • Salah’s Islamic Movement’s mourning of Osama bin Laden may have led the UK authorities to consider him worth excluding from the country:

We in the Islamic Movement condemn the assassination operation against the sheikh, the martyr Osama Bin Laden, if [reports are] true, at the hands of the American security arms.

The assassination, if true, proves collusion of mercenaries who have sold their consciences to cursed Satan.

It seems that the Israeli government stubbornly refuses to connect the 70.000 bedouins in this vast area to the electricity, water and sewage systems, or build nice paved roads through the desert.
Where I live, anybody who dwells outside of the existing agglomerations has to pay a hefty price for these commodities, which are financed by all the citizens. Are the bedouins prepared to pay?
NB: The prestigious London Review of Books recently brought an article by Neve Gordon which spreads the same insanities. How unrealistic can one be?

Dear Luis, you are such a hothead. We like you because we FEEL like you.
But I, being a dove, prefer the diplomatic way: try to convince outsiders and bystanders. Win them over. Get more support.
We just represent two different aspects of the same idea. Salud. Venceremos.

Saludos.

As usual, the arabs do the arabs the most harm. Let them vomit out their self hatred. That hatred is personally damaging to the spewer. Israel can take whatever action it wants against this mieskite (yeah, he is one ugly dude) and likely will.

Imagine, if you can, what it must be like to be in a hate state 24/7 all the time. As time goes on, the hater’s quality of life declines, happiness levels drop precipitously, ulcers and elevated blood pressure develop, heat attacks and strokes follow, and other organs deteriorate. Death follows cutting off life itself, all due to hate.

Are there haters who live to be quite elderly? Of course. What we have then is someone who has lived a LONG life filled with hatred. Sad, but so arab. Oh, BTW, there are no palestinians. Those were the Jews of the British Mandate period, now called Israel. The arabs there are squatting on Jewish lands. The only reason they are not illegal is because 1. some are citizens and 2. some are granted autonomous status. Anyone not in these two categories are illegal squatters. Too bad for them. Too bad for the arab haters. Israel is strong and takes care of herself.

It is of no surprise to me that the Guardian has let this anti-Semite print his views. The newspaper is so morally blinded that anything they print about Israel is untrustworthy. And ironic that the leader of a hate group talks of “universal values of justice and fairness”. This is the same man who has accused the Jews of mixing the blood of children in the dough of Jewish bread. He also accuses of Israel of masterminding the 9/11 atrocity. If any group in the world is shackled by “dogmas of supremacy” it is his brand of extreme Islamic politics.

His reference to the Balfour Declaration is also erroneous. It was the Arabs who committed acts of violence against the Jewish population before the founding of the State and it was the Arabs who rejected the partition plan, in which Arabs would have had control of all of the West Bank and parts of current-day Israel.

On my last visit to Israel I was shocked by the number of arab towns and mosques!!…….Israel has the enemy in their house, and if I had an enemy in my house I would send him out and made sure he never came back. Of curse democracy allows criticism and free speach, but this guy crosses the red line and he is practicing incitement to violence; he must be stoped!!!!!

Arabs claim that Israel is treating them badly ??
Then they should do like the Jews-who not only were treated badly by arabs in the countries they lived, from Irak to Marocco, but were robbed, murdered, chased, exiled : leave and go where you will feel better. Close to a million Jews made their choice by leaving Arabia.
No point for those unhappy arabs to cling to Israel, “suffer” and complain while in the meantime poisoning the atmosphere in the country. Jews and muslims are two different cultures that do not mix and there is no point in forcing the arabs to create a nasty emulsion within Israel. Just move a few dozen kilometers east, north or south and join one of the many “states” created for the purpose. Israel is a free country where arabs are abusing the freedoms available to blackwash Israel. They should use the freedom of travelling and move .

This is how I wrote to the Guardian this morning but whether they print …?

    Dear Sir,

Israel’s Arabs have several MK’s and if they campaigned in cooperation
within allegiance and planning, prioritising what matters practically
to their constituents in Israel, they could achieve more schools,
libraries and hospitals besides Rahat new town just North of Beer
Sheba. As things are not, they are trying nationalist over-reach
without Parnell’s muscle, and he did not collect all Ireland.

Raed Salah as a known Islamist protests too much like Jinnah smashing
united India to found Pakistan (Punjab, Afghania, Kashmir – as
“organic” as Yugoslavia); or more truthfully Konrad Henlein preferring
Germany to Czechoslovakia. The Sudeten Germans got their desires, as
the Greek Cypriots got their all Greek Cyprus and the Hungarians their
all- Magyar State, but not as any of them intended.

    Yours faithfully,

As it happens the bedouin being traditionalists who have never been over impressed by governments of any piece of demarcated land, do volunteer for the IDF, even as they volunteered for the British Palestine Police camel patrol in the Negev.

May I recommend to all to dip into the A.J.Grant and H.Temperley “History of the Peace Conference” for the texts of how the Allies in 1919 tried to impose on the successor states of Europe, toleration of their minorities in what became known as “The Minorities Treaties” but which started out as recognition of these new states and or new frontiers (Poland, CZ, Jugoslavia, Romania) by the powers, and quickly became dead letters about toleration.

I would advise any Christian who believes the Blood Libel to remember that it was first levelled at the early Christians, not the Jews. Pagans believed that the reason Christians were adopting unwanted children from the streets was in order to use their blood for the Eucharist (‘this is my body, this is my blood). Jews are not permitted to ingest any amount of blood. Any Christian with knowledge of Jesus’ religion would know this. It’s a good idea to do a bit of research before believing slander.
Pretty much everything Salah says is a lie. The Guardian should be ashamed of itself.

This blood libel was only ever believed by miserable, illiterate peasants under the rule of fanatical priests. The last instance I know of was (not surprisingly) in Kiev in 1913: Mendel Beiliss. If there are still any believers anywhere, they are complete idiots and not likely to do any research on any subject.

Nothing new for the nonchalant Brit government. As the Border Agency failed to notice that Salah has slipped through and was comfortable in the UK, the issue reminds me of the Great Britain of yesteryear buying into an agreement with Adolf Hitler. At that time, Neville Chamberlain returned from his meeting with Hitler in order to wave the document on return, stating those words, “Peace in our time.” Of course, the Brits were awakened to reality when the Lutwaffe appeared over British skies.
As for Salah, he’s angry because he probably headed the franchise at Brit football matches where scarves are sold with the words “Jews Forbidden.” The Nazis had the same slogan in Germany in the late ’30′s…”Juden Verboten.” I’m told there was good income to be made from British customers for those scarves. And now, Salah is back in the Holy Land, dealing once again with Israelis.
I doubt they’ll worry much about hurting his feelings if he becomes a greater liability than he has been.

Interesting that he refers to Israel as racist, and states that nobody should tolerate racisum against anyone. Does this mean he is against Sharia Law, which institutionalizes racisum acording to the Koran. Why does he not speak out for the Coptic Christians , Sudan, Syria or Lebenon ,(the last 2 are much more restritive to the Palistinians) then Isreal. He wants rights for everyone, until he is in power and then all rights are revoked!!!

I just found out that the Guardian is also honouring Holocaust Day on its online front page. There is a long interview with Mrs Ros Dayan who says that a growing number of survivors are starving in Israel today. I remember a Haaretz article on the same subject. Can there be any truth in this? If so, it would be a crying shame.

Lets be honest. The only one’s murdering Arab Muslims today are Arab Muslims. Thousands of Arabs are being killed by their own people. Yet the world does not care to acknowledge this. They want to boycott Israel who is killing no one but terrorists in action. Once an Anti-semite always an Anti-Semite.If you happen to be Christian you should pray hard for the survival of Israel. There will be no second coming of Christ without Israel.

Even after many years of witnessing cognitive disconnect in Islamic fundamentalists, I
still find such displays to be staggeringly bizarre, and more than sad that anyone can take them seriously: bin Laden, due to orchestrating the 9/11 terror attacks, was a martyr, but the Jews did it.

EVEN IF Sheikh leader Raed Salah was right in that the 9/11 terrorist atrocities were carried out by Israel; the mere fact that children in Gaza and other places were cheering in the streets, TAKES OWNERSHIP (if they didn’t know any-better than go and minister to them and make the repentance public).

Islamists need to stop searching for “scapegoats.” If you have accepted the atrocity in your heart as right, OR if you have supported those who have it in their heart, THAN YOU ARE GUILTY OF IT.

Hypothetically, if my family was mutilated, and you who are not responsible for the action, says “I Wish your family was mutilated a long time ago, because it made my life a happier place” Surely you would be held accountable for that crime even though you didn’t commit it physically.
