Do you think democracy can take root in Egypt after Mubarak’s ouster?

The people of Israel should be very concerned. However, we are now moving to G_d’s timetable and must be aware that all that is written will happen exactly as written and we can do is pray to gain a better understanding of G_d and his endtime plan which is currently unfolding as written.

Israel is God’s land, all of it, and He is watching His land and His people. And His timing is allways rigth. The only thing Israel can do, is to turn to God. To seek Him, read the whole Bible and ask Him honestly to interfer for them. God is their only hope, and He will help them, but the longer it take for Israel to understand and accept that, the longer the strugle will last. I am praying for the people of Israel to see this.

We should be concerned as this will not be a one off. Next time or sometime we could be attached who knows. Give them an inch and they will take more. The whole situation in the middle east is fragile. Could we have stopped the ship??

I am surprised that the two ships were allowed to continue to Syria. We know that Iran supplies the Hezbollah with weapons to attack Israel. I pray that the ships were just decoys.

Learn from Torah and Shulchan Aruch: Pray to Hashem, send inconsequential (not land or things needed for performing mitzvas) peace offerings, and show that we are ready for war. We are required by torah law to defend our communities and the land of Israel, by attacking the hostile forces, even if they are only coming to take a little straw, or they have only picked up their weapons and not yet used them against us. For a clearer explanation of this, please check out what the Chabad Rebbe said on the topic of defending Border towns.

ISRAEL SHOULD FOLLOW THE EVENTS CAREFULLY .
HOWEVER IT IS TO EARLY TO DRAW CONCLUSIONS BUT SOME QUESTIONS
ARISE:
1.FOR WHICH REASON DO IRANIAN WARSHIPS CROSS THE SUEZ CANAL ?
2 WHAT DO IT CONTAIN ?
3.IF IT IS NOT MILITARY MATERIAL WHY USE WARSHIPS ?
4.DID THE IRANIANS GIVE ANY EXPLANATION TO THE EGYPTIANS ABOUT
THE AIM AND DESTINATION OF THE VESSELS?
5.DID THE EGYPTIANS SERIOUSLY CONTROL THE VESSEL’S CONTENT ?
6.DID ISRAEL ASK EGYPT THOSE ( AND EVENTUALLY OTHER) QUESTIONS ?

Perhaps it was a dry run (despite being in water) for Iranian ships accompanying the next “Gaza flotilla?”

Blogger ralph highlighted important unanswered questions. I inferred that their aim was going to Syria to shore up the logistics lines of supply from Iran to Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Blogger Katz came up with a very plausible and chilling conclusion that could very well be Iran’s ultimate aim as it would be a high profile way to assert Iranian influence in the region.
Irrespective of which conclusion is chosen, we can be sure that the Iranians are up to no good.

This story makes me think of the Cuban crisis, when Nikita Krouchtchov tried to install Russian missiles on Cuba. US President Kennedy’s warnings were sufficiently firm and stark that finally Mr.K. asked his transport vessels to turn away… Unfortunately, but understandably, the world press has only eyes for the Libyan situation… Still, Israël should do what it needs to do, and usually does best, protect itself and its citizens, no matter what others say.

The world is in turmoil. Our President, (Obama), has done more by “doing” and “not doing”, than any President in our history to destabilize the world. I truly don’t know who’s side he is on???????

Israel has a major opportunity to break up the possible love affair between Egypt and Iran. It can do something that can make the Egyptians and Iranians distrust each other. Sink or damage one or both of the Iranian ships using captured Iranian munitions. They will both blame Israel no matter what, but underneath the bluster will be a distrust of each other. So, why not go for it. A few limped explosives attached to the hull of a ship, big ka-boom, listing Iranian warship, and cold shoulders all around!

Israel can sink the 2 iranian ships in 5 minutes, and Iran knows that, and they hope Israel does so they can cry to the world, but Israel is not falling for this provocation.
On the other hand, Israel is taking things TO EASY regarding what is going on around them, and this was said to me by an important political analyst after he came back from Egypt and Israel last week.

If they are not they should be! When a country’s leader says that he wants to totally destroy Israel and wipe the Jews off the face of the Earth I believe that it is something to be concerned about in every way.

Israel must understand that Obama will do nothing against Iran and Israel is alone in front of Iran .
The first mistake was when Israel follows the strong recommendations of Obama not to attack nuclear installations
The second mistake is not to answer strongly in Gaza 2 days ago when a medium range missile hit Bersheva
The third mistake is not to react against the presence of Iran ships in Syria which incourages Syria,Hezbolla and Hamas to provoke Israel

No doubt both Stuart and Gary Katz are correct.
Beware an eventual Hezbollah- Hamas seaborne pincer movement, with Iranian naval support (I guess these warships are armed with missiles).
In the light of current events, perhaps a mass insurgency in the offing ?
I wonder what racist remarks Anon refers to…nothing I can see .

There is nothing to be worry about, they think it is the show of power and they can sell it only to some stupieds near by. The logestic ship has only enough bread to feed the other ship. I feel really sorry for my country so weak and so much cheap. I can only be happy for the sailors who get to sea the beautiful Mediteranian and will receive a chance to go to bazar and buy some gifts for their family and not to forget to have a glass of bier.
Looking forward to see the days that these ships will visit the friendly Israel.
Wish the sailors a happy journy while sending them to the bottom of sea is a matter of seconds.
