Before we expect the mainstream media to recant, how about asking the Liberal Rabbis who jumped in support of Goldstone to withdraw their own libels of Israel. Robert Gordis wrote in the Jerusalem Post about the anti-Israel rabbinate developing in the U.S. ( probably mostly to the LEFT of the Conservative Movement- Reform, Reconstructionist, Humanist, many Hillels and all those for whom Democratic Party politics trumps concern for Jewish survival). Some of us are getting quite sick of it and them. Perhaps the time of Rabbinic Judaism has passed in the U.S.

I have already stated that the lying and phony anti-Israeli/Semitic media will never change its sick attitude towards Israel, even if Sister Theresa would have requested evenhanded reporting. Apparently there is another unrepentant menace loitering around. The UN has announced that even if Judge Goldstone has reversed his report on operation Cast Lead, the UN does not alter its reports on the basis of a news article. Get it? They insist on forwarding this piece of rubbish to the International Court in the Hague and charging Israelis of “war crimes”. This distorted, corrupt and nauseating organization has passed, over decades, hundreds if not thousands of anti-Israeli resolutions, at the order of tyrannies, theocracies, violators of human rights, police states and mass butchers, while at the same time millions literally were being butchered, pillaged, raped, driven into deserts etc. The supporters of Islamo-fachists, the so-called enlightened West, preferred to shed crocodile tears over the fate of the Arabs, to condemn the Jewish state, while at the same time not losing a second of sleep over the fate of so many millions. Historic justice will be served if this sick organization implodes into dust, to be dumped in the dungheap of the human race.

Even the organization’s name, “the United Nations,” is a lie. The decisive majority of states purportedly represented in the UN are not represented at all. The dictators who rule them are represented. Zimbabwe does not have representation in the UN. Only Robert Mugabe has. Venezuela is not represented in the UN. Hugo Chavez is. Syria is a member of the UN but Bashar al Asad is the one represented by its delegation. The same is true of about 3/4 of the members of the UN. At least two of the despots who have been represented in the UN have been certified cannibals: Idi Amin of Uganda and Jean-Bedel Bokassa, Emperor of the Central African Empire, now called the Central African Republic after France intervened and overthrew Bokassa. They were the ones who found human limbs in the freezer in the palace kitchen. To treat the US as a source of law or legitimacy is positively nihilistic. No democracy should even be a member.

Dear Judge Goldstone:
A story is told about the Chassidic master known as the Shpoler Zeyde. A man came to him before Yom Kippur one year to ask how he can gain atonement for his sin. The Rebbe asked what he had done and the man replied that he had spread some gossip about someone. The Rebbe told him to bring his pillow to the Rebbe. A strange request, but the man brought it. The Rebbe took it, opened the window, slit the pillow case open and emptied the feathers out the window. October in Russia is already getting toward winter and the wind was quite blustery. It immediately scattered the feathers from horizon to horizon. The Rebbe handed the pillow case back to the man and told him, “Go now and gather up all the feathers.” The man protested, “But there is no way that I can possibly gather up all those feathers.” And the Rebbe said to him, “And there is no way you can gain atonement for what you have done.”
Does that seem harsh? Atonement, in Judaism, is not gained for remorse alone. We are required to repair the damage that we have done. A thief, for example, cannot ask for atonement without first returning the article he stole. Other sins have equivalent repairs. For defamation, however, there is no repair. The calumnies are like feathers in the wind. Just as they can never be gathered up, so calumnies can never be recalled. Not all who heard the defamation will hear the retradtion. Not all who hear the retraction will believe it. The truth never fully overtakes the lie.
Furthermore, the injured party in this case is not the Washington Post or its readers. The injured parties are primarily the State of Israel and its armed forces and, beyond that, the people of Israel, both individually and collectively. People will not kill unless they are convinced that they are doing something good. The calumnies that you gave birth to have made it easier for people to kill us and to decide that the State of Israel has no right to exist, that the Jewish people, alone among all peoples of the earth, have no right of self-determination. You have done a great deal to endanger our nation and our very lives.
Publication of a retraction in the Washington Post is relevant as one step toward doing what you can to gather up as many “feathers” as you can. It needs to be the first step, however. You owe it to God and to the Jewish people and to your own soul to spend the rest of your life gathering up the feathers. You need to do quite a lot of that before you can go to the Israeli people and ask forgiveness. I notice that you have not asked for our forgiveness but I am willing to assume that the reason for that is your realization that you cannot do that without first repairing as much of the damage as you can as a token of your bone fides to continue to do so.

In actual fact Israel is not just winning – it has won by an embarrassing margin. This also makes it a most dangerours time – many are cornered and have much to loose. What is happening today is the entire world, with no exceptions, are chanting, COME CURSE ME ISRAEL – they have lost and must resort to clearly seen lost premises. This was prophesized by a non-Hebrew Prophesy, one who declared ‘THIS NATION SHALL STAND ALONE’.
This prophesy was issued by one who, the Torah states, was spoken to by God and a donkey. It was stated concerning the same land as today, by a people who refused Israel entering this same land. Even for an atheist, there is today an eerie parallel of biblical proportions made over 3000 years ago. At worst it is an impossible co-incidence.
But we cannot forget the result of it: Israel did enter her land, in the face of the then world lined up against her in equal measure. This is a recurring theme in Israel’s history, with Europe, Islam, Rome, Babylon, the Midianites and a host of such nations hellbent on Israel’s destruction.
What is Israel afraid of? Isolation – by Nazis demanding serial 2-states in the same tiny land? Better, Israel welcomes this isolation, and leaves the UN, instead argueing for the UN to be put on trial. Once Israel does so, and sticks to this goal till kingdom come, the situation will change.Israel must insist not only for the re-examination of all UN Resolutions, but also for the restoration of the Balfour and under what terms and conditions were all those ficticious Arab states created by Briton and supported by the EU & UN.
Remember, not only the Jews were displaced from their land – a host of other peoples were also disregarded, including the Copts, the Drews, the Christians and the Kurds – all who predate Islam in Arabia. Remember also, this was done not only in Arabia – India and many other nations were subjected to the same and are also facing this paradigm. Remember, the UN is “NOT” above the law, even if the world thinks so – many nations will come out of the woodwork if Israel accepts total isolation and goes back to Kibbutz and ghettoe conditions. Israel will be a light unto the nations when she stands against their darkness.
This is the right time to do it. For those who think that is too far fetched for Israel to challenge the world, let them consider what is more far fetched by the situation seen today against Israel and the alternative to not doing so: serial 2-states till there is none. That is the only message on the default setting. Europe and the Islamic world are tottering – their only defense is deflection to their pet hate: Israel. If Israel responds without putting her neck on the chopping block, they will use this as the cause of all their problems. So Israel must go on the attack: when mad dogs are rushing at you, with the limbs of your kin in its jaws, it is not a time to negotiate or compromise. The message to Israel is clear:
YOU SHALL NOT FOLLOW A CORRUPTED MULTITUDE.
Israel – leave the UN and disassossiate from Nazi Europe all together. Whatever the cost, be not blackmailed by commerse or by a million Jews used as pawns in Europe. Israel, cease pretending and know thy enemies. There will be a remnant who will be the savior. There is historical precedence here for those who want to do the math. Israel has no alternatives but to leave and counter charge the UN, the EU, the Islamic world – and those nations selling their souls to bow to histories worst devils. No one has shown another way – nothing has succeeded when Israel compromised.

Dear Editors:
Your Email to me had as its subject line: “Is the Goldstone Report still valid?”
My answer: The Goldstone report was invalid since its publication. Now Mr. Goldstone admits that he was missing information. Is that really true? As usual, the damage has been done, and it is unlikely that BBC, CNN, etc. will pay too much attention to the regrets and posturing of Mr. Goldstone.
