In a live blog, the Huffington Post included the following:

The cartoon itself makes the offensive suggestion that Netanyahu is profiting from Israel’s military action primarily to win votes in the forthcoming Israeli election. But the cartoonist is someone who should not be republished or promoted in any mainstream media outlet.

Carlos Latuff, notorious for his anti-Israel (and anti-Semitic) images, claimed second prize in the 2006 Iranian International Holocaust Cartoon Competition.

In an interview with The Algemeiner, Rabbi Marvin Hier of the Simon Wiesenthal Center stated of Latuff:

This cartoonist does not belong on the Huffington Post, because of his record of being a purveyor of anti-Semitic cartoons.

He always compares Israelis to Hitler and the Nazis. For that alone, the Huffington Post should not publish any of his work.

The cartoon is offensive enough to draw attention to the Huffington Post. That the Huffington Post considered a known anti-Semite to be worthy of inclusion on its site is doubly offensive.
