Iranian lawmakers grilled Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif over his views on the Holocaust. AP explains what prompted this:

The questioning was prompted by an interview Mohammed Javad Zarif gave to German media in February in which he said the Holocaust was a “horrifying tragedy” that should never happen again.

In the end, parliament voted against censuring Zarif.

Walid Jumblatt, political leader of Lebanon’s Druze community, urged Syrian rebels to shun Israeli aid days after one Syrian dissident told the Times of Israel that the time has come for rebels to openly seek Israeli support.

Patinkin brings to mind some parallels when Arafat Jaradat died in an Israeli prison last year.
