Israel: Gaddafi’s Distraction of Choice

This says it all.  While his people gear up this week’s Libyan Day of Rage, strongman Muammar Gaddafi is also prepping — by trying to distract everyone with the Palestinian problem.

It ain’t hard to see where that came from. Food prices are up, and virtual water‘s trickle down effect won’t impact the Libyan street by Thursday.

As we saw in Tunisia and Egypt, the Arab uprising isn’t about the Palestinian problem; Libyans won’t be distracted.

If that’s the best Gaddafi can do, he may as well book a one-way ticket to early retirement now. He has known affinity for  Englewood.
