Israeli Taxpayers Deserve a Better Zionist Media Conspiracy

August 3, 2011 14:16 by

The Daily Telegraph had a weird photo of the Prime Minister with an outstretched arm, somewhat reminiscent of a Nazi salute.

When I found the photo at Getty Images, it was credited as an Israeli Government Press Office handout and is in fact posted on the Prime Minister’s Flickr stream.

Maybe the photo would be actionable had it been taken by someone on the Big Media payroll. Or maybe the photo’s no big deal.

Yesterday, I was upbeat about Danny Ayalon’s video. Now the GPO distributes this photo to the press corps.

Israeli taxpayers deserve a better Zionist media conspiracy.

What do you think?

Well, if they’re going to lie, they could do one of two things: 1) lie more believably or 2) lie more humorously. Option 1 is never going to happen, so they should embrace option 2, which will at least let them be entertaining. The best alleged conspiracy so far has been the accusation of human-attacking sharks working for Israel. I recommend that the next big alleged Zionist media conspiracy involve ninjas, lasers, a Tyrannosaurus rex, and the Smurfs. (Smurfs are blue and wear white. Obviously working for Israel.)

“In a discussion about variations on Godwin’s Law – the semi-ironic observation by Mike Godwin that “as an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 100%” – ”

Didn’t take you too long, did it?
