Itamar Massacre Followup: BBC Turnaround Improves

Hakim Awad was convicted of murdering Udi and Ruth Fogel, along with three of their children in the Itamar massacre.

Almost as notable as the conviction is that the BBC picked up on the story quickly. Beeb officials conceded they completely fumbled the massacre after MP Louise Bagshawe called the taxpayer-funded news service onto the carpet.

Sentencing will take place in September. Hakim’s brother, Amjad, is also on trial.
