Lady Ashton’s 3 Omissions

Ashton_gazaLady Catherine Ashton, the EU's foreign policy chief, describes her recent visit to Gaza in this NY Times commentary. Care to guess what she left out?

1) A Qassam rocket launched within an hour of her arrival.

2) It killed Manee Singmueangphon, a 34-year-old Thai foreign worker in a greenhouse on Kibbutz Netiv Ha'asara.

3 ) The Anagram Times' cool take on AFP headline coverage of Ashton's response.

Okay, the last point is forgivable. But how can the Baroness heartlessly have nothing to say about the latest Qassam fatality?
