Pulitzers For Online Reporting

Citizen journalists and bloggers are really coming into their own. The Pulitzer Prize is expanding to include online-only coverage. See the eligibility rules and/or Editor & Publisher before speculating whether, say, Huffington Post, the Drudge Report, or even your own blog might qualify.

In the coming year, we're going to a greater blurring of the traditional distinctions between old-school media on one hand, and citizen journalists, bloggers and web activists on the other, as both sides redefine their online roles.
