Ouch.
Israel to bill Bedouins for razing their homes
You have to read AFP’s article to learn that Israel is suing the Bedouins for the cost of repeatedly demolishing illegal structures in Al-Araqib, an unrecognized village built on state-owned land.
Israeli authorities have razed the illegal structures more than 20 times, costing taxpayers $529,000 in manpower and equipment expenses.
