To the best of my (somewhat fuzzy) memory: Ghajar was ceded in some official way by the Lebanese to Syria 1965 or 6 in the build-up around the river Jordan Diversion plan. It was not invaded in the 6 Days War, but surrendered of own accord some week after. The documentation ought to be found somewhere! It would do a world of good if somebody delved into archives, instead of repeating big media clips!!
