Weekend Server Crash

Seems we had a server crash on Friday morning. The database was restored, but we lost Thursday’s blog posts. I’m in the process of restoring them. Transferring ten years of material and recreating our website has been a major undertaking and there are still a number of bugs and improvements that need fixing.

In the few short hours before publicly announcing our new web site, we were frenetically ironing out The Little Things. Just this morning, our web master, who seems to live on nothing but caffeine and adrenaline these days, fixed a time stamp that was two hours behind Israel time. Backspin’s Big Day

It’s been a long time coming, but we are finally realizing our dream of revamping the HonestReporting web site along with Backspin. Who knew how the blog would unfold when it debuted on Sept. 22, 2003 with a modest post titled, Another “T-word” editorial? We had a nice run with Typepad: 5,170 posts in seven-plus years.
