Aww, a beautiful video. It hasn’t been an easy 63 years, but I hope it will get better for Israel. Happy 63′rd! Here’s to many, many more.

Lost their homes? What do you mean? They live in the west bank and gaza. Though even that was never was their home. The “palestinians” are from Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. When Israel began to prosper, then they demanded the land for themselves, all of it. The un gave them resolution 181, which divided the land between them but “palestine” rejected. Why should they have any right to it now?

Hey Bradford,
Is any Arab state ready to accept back the jews they expelled in 1948? They have plenty of space…

It’s a fair question that will no doubt be raised at the peace talks. Israel is required to allow all Palestinians the right of return to their homes, perhaps once that is agreed, then anything is possible, who knows. Meanwhile, whilst the Palestinians continue to live in refugee camps, why should any Arab states allow them back? They’re having to accommodate very many refugees, after all.

What do you mean what do I mean? If your English is weak, ask someone to translate into your own language.
What you say is daft.
Hot debate. What do you think?

You have no arguments so you attack the way I express myself? I consider my English to be pretty good, but it is my third language. So I apologize for any mistakes I make.
It is too bad that you are blind to history and facts. But your confusion will not change the truth, or Israel’s right to exist.

I understand very well, I just wanted you to elaborate. And I answered your question on what I think about palestinians and their non-existant right to the land of Judea and Samaria.

Quite – what you say is daft. You seem to be suggesting that because you think a group of people have no rights to something that you want, then it’s OK to murder them in order to take it from them. Daft. Is that the normal way of doing things in Israel, do you know?

I have met a lot of people like you and to be honest, you are all the same. I guess you use the same source. You are convinced that Israel is the aggressor, yet they never fire first. And retaliation to an attack is every country’s right. But you are one of those people that wants to take that right away from them. You know, I feel bad for Israel for what the world is doing to them. Always condemning every retaliation and every calling attempt to stop terrorism a ‘war crime.’
Well tell me this, where is the world when Israel gets hit with rockets, when their people suffer or die? Nowhere. Why don’t you call that murder? Or the fact that palestinians targeted a school-bus, while Israel never targets children. Or the Fogel family that was murdered in their sleep, including 3 small children. So why should Israel listen to the world when dealing with people who have said and shown that their main goal is the destruction of Israel?

History has shown us plenty of times that the majority is often very wrong. No, you are not alone in your views at all. I assume you are from the UK? Many people there share your views, many also protested the death of Bin Laden, so I am not surprised. I suppose your people are very easily brainwashed? Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of decent people there, just that the ignorant ones are the most vocal.
Alright, so about your list:
1. Israel is not occupying another country. Is Palestine a country? Has it ever been? If so, what is the capital and what currency do they use? What is the year of their independence? What are their historical ties to the land of Judea? Did you know “palestine” comes from the Greek word Philistine. And the Philistines were not even semitic people. Has there ever been any historic artifacts found in the “palestinian territories” which shows they have ever lived there?
2. Define murder and link a source. How and why did they die? Were they murdered in their sleep by Israelis? I don’t think so.
3. Nobody dropped phosphorous on Gaza. Israel used it to illuminate targets and create smoke, which is not uncommon by far. There is no evidence to show they used it against people illegally. That is confirmed by the red cross.
4. They did fire cluster bombs into Lebanon, you are right about that. In a war that Lebanon started, but it was wrong nonetheless.
I understand you are a terrorist sympathizer and blindly ignore Israel’s right to defend itself. I suggest reading something other than terrorist sites (sadly, that includes most of the UK mainstream media). Why are you even here, if not to learn? You listed up these crimes, as you say. Should I really make a list of what has been done to Israel? How far back should I start?
I’ll just name a few, done by Palestinians:
The Munich Massacre – 11 Israelis killed.
Coastal Road massacre – 38 killed, many of them children
Ma’alot Massacre – 25 killed
Passover massacre – 30 killed
Beit Lid massacre – 23 killed
A lot of massacres, huh. Is that what peaceful people do? Should I continue? There is a lot more. Way too much. And you don’t say a damn thing about all that has happened. Because people like you never do, they don’t care. You only see the terrorists as victims. And I say, that after decades of these massacres happening, Israel has every right and more to defend themselves. I won’t shed a tear for a dead terrorist and if you had a conscience neither would you. But I see where your loyalties lie. Or maybe you truly are this blind, for which there is no excuse because the truth is easy to find if only you bothered looking for it. Ignorance truly is bliss but try not to insult other people’s intelligence, I will not believe your lies.

What have you lied about? You simply do not know what the truth is. And you are unwilling to learn. That is why I called you ignorant.
You want to know what you are wrong about?
1. First of all, Israel’s capital is Jerusalem, not Tel Aviv.
2. The land was Israel’s once. It certainly has never belonged to any “Palestinians”
3.What I meant by explaining the roots of the word “palestine” is that it is a made up word, they have no history there.
4. Yes I am saying Palestinians didn’t live in palestine until Arafat brought them there from Jordan. Jordanians is who they are.
5. When Israelis do “murder” someone, it’s terrorists. Cause for celebration, I see no problems.
6. The reason I asked you how they died is that it has been proven that the many of those numbers are greatly exaggerated. They even fake their own deaths, there is video proof. Also, hamas likes to kill their own and blame Israel. You never know what the truth is. Oh wait, you could but that involves work and checking different sources. Too much for you?
7. White phosphorous has been used by many armies for that purpose. Here is the article about what the Red Cross said:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/13/israels-use-of-white-phos_n_157648.html
To sum it up: You are the most typical anti-Israel hatemonger, who justifies acts of terrorism against Israel but condemns them over defending themselves. As you said: “Those massacres you describe are part of the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict” Sounds like all the murders are okay in your eyes, just as long as Israelis die. Nevermind that those attacks are the reason your precious palesterrorists die. Any other country would have leveled Palestine by now. I truly do admire Israel’s patience, I just hope it doesn’t get more self-destructive. They have to put their own people first, building a wall to shield off the murderous animals was a great thing. And I justify Operation Cast Lead. There is only so much a country can and should take. “Palestine” should stop picking a fight if they don’t want to get beaten down.
And for the last time, there is no such thing as a Palestinian, they are from JORDAN.

1. You just made up a country that doesn’t exist. In 1967 the West Bank and East Jerusalem were under Jordanian rule, Gaza was under Egyptian occupation. No Pleastine there. East Jerusalem was no capital of any country prior to 1967, nor did it exist as an independent entity before 1948, only part of one city called Jerusalem. Jerusalem was split for 19 years, during which its western part became the capital on Israel, home to its parliament, supreme court, presidential residence, etc. East Jerusalem was just another town annexed to Jordan in 1950 with the rest of the “West Bank” (a Jordanian term). Before 1948 there was no independent state of Palestine either. The whole territory, including Trans-Jordan was a British mandate. Before WWI it was part of the Ottoman empire for 400 years. The Arab residents of Palestine saw themselves as part of “greater Syria”, not as a nation of its own.
2. You claim that 87 Palestinians were “murdered” by Israel, but give no context. Were they “murdered” trying to cross into Israel? Were some of them armed? Did they fire rockets into Israel? Just murdered cold-bloodedly? What for? Israel has enough power to wipe out Gaza completely. Why does it “murder” its citizens so slowly? Is Israel a masochstic country?
You say that the killing of Israelis (men, women, children) in buses, restaurants and Olympic games is part of the war, not acts of terror. Why then are Israel’s reactions “murder”? Aren’t they part of the same war? Double standard?

I would not say you have lied- You are just unaware of the facts-John-
Or you have been listening and reading only one side of History.
Amit explained it adequately for any one to understand-
However lets put it in a nutshell-
There has never been a Sovereign State called Palestine-EVER. If you say there has-Then tell us-and I will only ask 3 questions out of many-
Who was its last head of state, Where was its official Palace or Parliament and where was its monetary system organised from.
Occupied land- If there was no such State then it can not regardless of Mr Hague or any one else be occupied- so any convention or international law which said it is , maybe you could help us with.
And please quote the UN resolutions that Israel has not adhered to-`cause I can answer every one of them- Maybe you can tell us why the Arab nations disregarded the only full and first UN resolution 181. Not one agreed on by only 15 nations.
Your point on Phosphorus- I can not answer- In war and Hamas provoked Israel into it.
You go out to win- All the back room lawyers in the world can make up rules but there is not a country that completely adheres to them- And in Hamas`s case they have targeted more civilians than military personnel. So start there- Then question why during war they put their civilians in the front line rather than n shelters.
And finally you mentioned the Red Cross- Well they have attempted to see the welfare of a captured soldier Shalit- and Hamas refuse to let them- What dose thar tell you- Even the Brutal Nazis allowed the Red Cross to see captured allied soldiers.
