Good grief. How stupid this is. We know about the mentality of Islam and how it teaches their children hate and doesn’t teach them truth about history and yet we think they raise generations of peaceful non-evil people. PLEASE…how stupid.
World wide their are so few Jews and so many Muslims, no way can these stories be anything but a continuation of the history of anti-semitism.

As always it is impossible for Israel and its blind supporters to see the reality and the truth. As Uri Avnery (Gush Shalom) said: “Occupation is the disease – violence the symptom”. But it is naturally much easier to live with one self if one lives in an illusion. Having said that, I recommend to read the following article:

It’s a refreshing straight to the point analyses without the continuous one-sided propaganda of which every normal thinking human being is meantime sick and tired of.
If Israel truly would want peace … there where uncountable opportunities. But the status quo is exactly what it needs in order to “prosper” and not to implode.
How much hope did we have way back then – and utterly sad to see what we have become; nothing more than land robbers and guards of the biggest concentration camp.
Didn’t we say: “Never again!”?

The Goldstone report is a joke. Two weeks ago the peace loving, freedom fighters of Hamas executed 30 members of Fatah outside a Mosque.
Israel cannot stand by and let Palestinians launch rockets on its civilians.
Goldstone is being manipulated by terrorists.
Goldstone supports murderers and totalitarian, women bashing terrorists.
The only analysis is that Hamas is at war with Israel. Hamas is a terrorist organization just like the Nazi SS.

One wonders what drives a man like Goldstone. Such a flawed report, so obviously destined to make it very difficult for Israel to defend itself against those committed to its destruction, is basically antisemitic. I can see only 3 explanations: 1.)He is malevolent & hates his own people. 2. he is mentally ill. 3. He is very stupid. Judging by his history, we can rule out 3. So it must be either 1 or 2.

The Goldstone Report is entirely correct and actually puts the situation quite mildly. Israel is an occupying force of a population of people – this is an undeniable fact.
Also, see Fourth Geneva convention that it is still violating international humanitarian law to request civilian populations to leave their homes. Therefore, any argument against Israeli wrongdoing in this regard is false. Are they still not targeting an area with homes and civilians? Why should people be forced to leave the only home they have so that israel can bomb it?
The very opinions expressed in this article underpin everything that is wrong in the world today.

Just knowing the Judge Goldstone report is from the U.N. is in itself telling the world the report is false, biased, and totally anti Israel and that is the only reason for its existence.
It is a known fact that the Palestians Jihadists and all terrorists use the civilian population as shields in hopes of staying alive when confronted by the IDF. They are not soldiers of any sort and have no quams about killing innocent civilian

The truth is that the basis for the investigation of Goldstone was 100% flawed! I heard Goldstone himself said on Farees Zakaria, CNN programme that he investigated ONLY the method used by Israel and Hamaz.
His report is parochial and lacks sincere intention. Once you miss out the right component of a formula, you will definietely fail your computations. The basis of the war was terrorism against a state by a group of terrorist who claim to be freedom fighters! Goldstone, you’d better get this straight.

I still don’t believe that are people in this world so ignorant of modern history that they actually think Israel “reacts” to Palestinian “terrorist” attacks. Are you people stupid? Seriously, have any of you ever stopped to think how a people that were OCCUPIED in 1948 were vilified by the media (our media like this Dis-Honest Reporting) into a gang of outlaws and savages that are living off the “good will” of the Israeli people. READ some history books and let your brains process the information please. There is no way that the Palestinians are wrong in their fight against Israel because we put the Jews on that spot of land after usurping it from them.
Since 1948 Israel built itself with US and European support on a land that DOES NOT belong to it, using biblical rubbish as an excuse to do that. We westerners allowed that because we hated the Jews more than anything else and were willing to do anything to get rid of them, even letting them enslave the people of an entire country.
Yes it’s our fault that Israel is a big, mean, and unethical monster that has subjugated the people in PALESTINE for the last 61 years.
Remember, when you corner a dog expect him to bite. These people, the Palestinians, have been cornered for over six decades so it’s very understandable that they are less than happy with us and are not so willing to give up on their dream of freedom and independence.
Goldstone’s report only covered a small bit of the horrors committed by the Israelis in over 60 years. Everyone should pull their heads out from the ground, read into modern history, and then think of how to resolve this farce that we put in the world.

I’m apolitical professor in Mexico City I`d like to ask any of you if you really read the goldstone report because if you did you would not say all you say I’m Mexican and have nothing to do with what`s going on out there but I can read and understand political actions that are happening around me the fact of the mater is Israel refused to cooperate at all levels as matter of fact Israel tried to make it difficult for the investigating committee to reach a conclusion now to any outsider that only constitutes guilt I could understand that you want to protect Israel at any coast but be realistic murder is murder it doesn´t matter who`s doing it but justifying yourself by sandblasting a report which Israel did not want to participate in because they know they’re guilty in hogwash no one will ever believe their innocence any way it`s easy to say that the Palestinians used the civilians as a human shield but excuse me I’ve heard that word every time a n invading force kills innocent civilians whether be in Lebanon or Jordan the West Bank or Gaza I`ve even heard it from both the American and Russians in Afghanistan the fact of the matter is this is a coward’s way for soldiers to take the guilt off themselves and blame the enemy for what they did I read all the responds but none of us where there to say that it really happened but the results speak for themselves 1116 civilians killed (admitted by Israel) (I think it’s more) you know you people call yourself civilized? fine when a commission hearing comes up maybe Israel should cooperate the next time or everyone including myself will find them guilty but any ways since no one is willing to do anything about it they will continue to do these atrocities and get away with it because people like you are brainwashed to believe your own lies instead of looking at the facts now I know you wouldn’t publish my letter because it comes from a neutral source and it doesn`t help your cause any but I hope you`ll think about what I Wrote thank you very much

I´m a Lebanese catholic living in Paris yes I have a middelastren background What I don`t understand is why are you guys so defensive you already convinced yourself nobody needs to be convinced as much as you as a matter of fact you already came to a conclusion now a smart person would look up the goldstone report on the internet and decide for themselves it´s written in plain English and for what I gathered in other languages also I read it and gathered my own conclusion the only thing that I have to coment on is the fact that Israel didn`t show up and I don`t think Mr. Goldstone got paid or any of his commission members because they have nothing to gain by producing fictional records based on drunken or inept people and just because you don`t agree with it you don’t have to accuse his you`ll never tarnish his upstanding reputation anyway and Israel will keep doing what it does because there is support for what they do in the world community from what I heard my Jewish friend say once (when he was drunk) A Jewish voice that yells justice will be heard ten times it`s fold but an Arab one will be reduced by ten what can I say when your right your right but personally I think that things will change if the Israeli government keeps going the way it’s going by the way my father fought with Haddad in libanon and I still think that it`s the bigest mistake he made in his life.

wow, its amazing how everyone that commented here seems to forget that Israel ended 1400 humans lives in less than a month.
not to mention that the reason that Israel seems to have resistance in Gaza is because they have been occupying and confiscating land for the past 60 years.
stop stealing their land, they will stop resisting you!

According to Gershon Basking of the Israel/Palestine Center for Peace, Research and Information(or something like that), the failings of the Goldstone Report are the failings of the Israeli Govenment’s decision to not cooperate with the Goldstone Commission. Continuously througout the report the report states that they could not verify (or the like) because of the lack of cooperation from the Israeli government. Had the government cooperated, the report could have had a more balanced perspective and Israel could have deflected much of this firestorm. It was the failure of the Israeli government to not cooperate that has caused all these problems and is unnecessary. Citizens of Israel do deserve a review of the issues of war that the Gaza War presented by conducting an Independent — non-military — review.
On another note, the war may have been unnecessary. Gershon Baskin had met with Hamas officials who had agreed to have a 10 year Hudna and stop all the rocket fire weeks before the war ever commenced. He relayed that information to the Prime Minister and the highest levels of the Israeli administration. He got no response. The decision to go to war had already been made and they did not wish to be diverted by alternatives to war. This was a mistake.
And now they impound the mistake by making all of Gaza a prison and not letting goods in. So the only way the goods get in is through tunnels. The tunnels are run by Hamas. This blockade of Israel is making Hamas wealthier and more popular because they can easily point to the misery of the people as a result of Israeli actions. Besides being morally wrong to imprison a whole populace, it is also counterproductive. Normally, Hamas only has at best a 15% favorability rating among the Palestinian populace. The blockade bulsters the support for Hamas in the face of an obstinant and immoral enemy.
I urge you to urge the Israeli government to end the blockade and enter into negotiations with the Palestinian Authority to resolve the Israeli/Palestinian conflict in the next two years. After hearing all the solutions the the IPCRI has, I now know that peace is possible within these next two years. It should be on all of us to encourage and persuade the governments to let this happen.
