I admire him for standing for his convictions and principals about not allowing your adversary to take advantage. As the New York Times has had some pretty Anti Israel editorial comments and articles I can understand his reluctance to do so. I wonder if he did consider contacting another media outlet to address the world?

Mr Netanyahu is correct. He cannot trust America nor the USA media. The farther he gets away from any secular media the better he is. And he needs not to listen the White House.

PM Netanyahu was 1001% right. His op-ed would most probably fall on deaf ears. He would have wasted hs precious time and instead, probably put it to much better use!

On the other hand perhaps he should’ve done it – provided they would print it exactly as written – one never knows who’d read it and come to their senses… I still feel that Israel needs MORE young and strong people. Please hear me out and pass this on to the 4 corners of the world?

YOUNG/HEALTHY/STRONG JEWS AND SYMPATHIZERS OF THE WORLD: STOP WHINING OR CRITICIZING ISRAEL – NO GOVERNMENT WILL HELPS US. NO ANTISEMITES EVER CHANGE. LEAVE YOUR ROTTEN COUNTRIES AND GO TO ISRAEL TO STAY AND PROCREATE IN ABUNDANCE, NONSTOP. GO FIGHT FIERCELY AS NEVER BEFORE. EMPOWER ISRAEL TO REGAIN ITS RIGHTFULLY-WON TERRITORIES AND CONQUER MORE! ISRAEL NEEDS NOT ONLY TO EXIST BUT TO PREVAIL IN FULL FORCE, INCREASING POWER CONTINUALLY TO ASSURE NOT BEING ATTACKED BY ANY COUNTRY!!! ISRAEL NEEDS YOU AND YOU NEED ISRAEL AND IT’S ONLY FAIR THAT YOU, YOUNG AND HEALTHY YIDS, GO AND HELP IT NOW! HOW ELSE DID AMERICA BECOME GREAT?
THOSE THINKING WE CAN CHANGE EVIL… ARE NAIVE AT BEST (I CALL THEM DANGEROUS IDIOTS!!!)

The PM was absolutely right to politely refuse the op-ed. Whatever he wrote would have been picked apart and manipulated to make Israel look bad. The PM has taken the high road and correctly appears as not being willing to kow-tow toward the ‘mighty’ NY times. There was no indication that the Times would not change the text, be it ever so subtly, to modify any positive nuances.

The rejection itself was his editorial.

Thumbs up for the P.M. He needs to tell the N.Y. Times to stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.

In this case, Bibi was wrong. I’d like to read whatever he might write, and wish he had not refused that opportunity. On the other hand, considering who owns the NYT, not surprising he did refuse. He can’t trust them.

He should never write anything in a publication that is against Israel. I wouldn’t.

I’m glad he didn’t write an op ed for that paper, but hope he does for a different publication. It wouldn’t have mattered what he said to the New York Times, the powers-that-be there would have found a way to twist his remarks to suit their own agenda anyway. May God Guide, Bless and Favor P.M. Netanyahu, every direction he turns.

Assad’s departure would weaken Hezbollah, temporarily, at least, and any weakening of Hezbollah, no matter how temporary, is welcome.
