Welcome to the New HonestReporting

In the few short hours before publicly announcing our new web site, we were frenetically ironing out The Little Things. Just this morning, our web master, who seems to live on nothing but caffeine and adrenaline these days, fixed a time stamp that was two hours behind Israel time.
I’m really excited about the site’s new features. Media critiques and blog posts are more social media-friendly, comment friendly, print-friendly, and search-friendly (we’re still working on that last point).
As Backspin editor, I can also let you know that my HonestReporting colleagues, Simon Plosker, Yarden Frankl and Alex Margolin, will soon add their voices to the blog with posts of their own. More on that in an upcoming post.
In the meantime, post your impressions and let your friends know how cool this site is – no matter which time zone they’re in now.

Why the Eye??
Isn’t it bad enough the Freemason ‘religious priests’ (32nd degree) blatantly make use of this symbol within its Temples and celebrate lucifer’s image (the Baphomet), or that it shows up on our USD (that a few Freemason’s designed!) and is referred to as ‘the Eye of Providence’, the ‘All-seeing Eye’ ~ yet, in reality, is a direct reference symbol to the Enlightened Ones, the Illuminatae ~ the same symbol that CBS wantonly flaunts as its network symbol… that shows up in ancient Egyptian hierglyphs?
Lose the Eye… please.
