Amen to that and more, but…to call us “grammar nazis” is unreasonable Georgy, don’t you think? And, yes I always write nazi, arab, muslim, etc. with small initial letters because that’s how I feel about those soul-less primitive jerks!

Adela, I agree that my use of the term “grammar nazi” was harsh and I apologize. Perhaps it hit too close to home after I re-read my comment and saw all the typos and misspellings, that’s what you get when you don’t go back and edit before you push send. For many it does take away from your intent.
I don’t particularly hate any one because that would put me right on par with these sick sons of pigs. I just don’t want to share the same island and have no problem voting them off this planet but I do so without hatred, that only gets in the way. The idea that Islam is a religion of peace and love is laughable at best. It is born of hate, deceit, murder and from the purposes of a criminal. Does anyone think the parallel of the Koran to the Bible is an accident? Really, they need do some research, Mohamed had many wives and some of them were followers of the “Way” and the scriptures were in his tent. The miscreant twisted the bible to fit his purposes. From the beginning the “religion” was spread at the point of the sword.
I can barely contain myself when I hear this kind of political correctness being spewed by anyone especially our politicians. As a nation America has supported Israel with some periods of times when we had ultra liberal presidents that there were stupid things done under the guise of brokering peace. Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and now our current President, Barrack Obama and his Secretary of state, Hillary Clinton for example. What an embarrassment. I am stupefied by the blindness of Jews in America that will blindly vote for liberal candidates that talk about compassion for the little guy but their deeds don’t support that assertion.
Adela I love Israel too and I am heart broken when I see the Diaspora not embracing Zion. In full disclosure I am a Messianic Christian who believes as Paul and the other early Christians did. The idea that Christians are Jew haters or should be Jew haters is of man, not of G-d. Jesus was a Jew, the apostles were all Jews. My Jewish friends don’t hate me, and I have many I love each of them and share a mutual respect. We share a mutual heritage of our love of G-d and scriptures. I know I got way off topic so please forgive me. I cannot and do not want to understand the unreasonable and despicable, institutional envy, hatred or whatever negative connotation you wish to use against Israel and Jews. It is unholy and evil at the core. So Israel should do what it does best, be tenacious, don’t give on inch of your birth right that G-d gave your forefathers and be obedient to God not public opinion. That would be a sin and Satan will love you for it. My prayers are with you, may G-d bless you.

Apology accepted George and thanks. You aren’t the only one that makes typos, but some of us do read it back, also re-read phrases that perhaps don’t carry the meaning we meant to give…
I understand you don’t like to hate anyone and I commend you for it, but it is a very human instinct; however, one must be sure to hate ONLY what’s evil and not other frivolous and/or selfish motives such as envy, etc. The hatred towards all evils gives even more impetus to one’s fight…

Yes sadly. I call them renegade, traitor jews. I carry this like a spine in my heart. I even rejected friends who are stupid enough to feel “so sorry for the palestinians” but not worry about the approaching end of Israel and the diaspora Jews (while continuing to be maimed and murdered precisely because of and by these “poor palestinians”!!! I always say I hope they are the first to be fried by the holocaust arab style!!!
So you are a Messianic Christian, does it mean you are a Christian awaiting Jesus as the Messiah? It’s very commendable (and I find it moving) of Christians and other religions to support Israel. I’m humbly very grateful for this as Israel needs true help in every respect more than their daily bread! One important help is to debunk all the way all the terrible lies dispersed throughout the world against Israel and the Jews. I get lots of wonderfully clear debunking articles and videos which I forward to my 2 internet lists where I have many non-Jews, so I hope to awaken their eyes to this, as well as the Jews’ eyes on my lists.

Nothing, I feel a Demrocacy such as Israel should not have to explain, bend over backwards, or change just to make a bunch of hypocrits like you. No matter what Israel does those same haters will still hate. That is what America has become, the powers that be apologize for our arrogant ways. Tell me how many arrogant Americans died to free other nations from soft spoken communists. How many sympathizes would come over here to die for us if needed, but we have had people risk everything to get here and fight in our military for someone elses freedom. When Rabbi Akiva wanted to study, he was not sure he could do so. One day he sat by a stream and noticed the ‘soft’ water making a hollow in the ‘hard’ stone. Only by persistence, can we fight and win the war for Israel’s image, which is largely due to anti-Semitism. It may be futile, anti-Semitism has never been overcome, but we cannot give up.

Heny, I agree with all you say but it’s historic. This whole thread has nothing whatever to do with Israel as such. It’s all pure anti-Semitism worldwide. Those that use Israel for their excuses are the usual nut brigade you get everywhere in the world. There is nothing you can do with lunatics as lunatics are er……lunatics. I have often reflected on a quote; “Freedom isn’t free”. Freedoms purchase price is blood and a constant vigilance against all that would take it away. The path to tyranny is insidious and relentless in a free society. All citizens in a free society must be vigilant of a government body that will vote into law things that will incrementally chip away at freedom. If not checked we will no longer be free. Americans are in real danger today because this process has been going on since the “Great Depression”. The idea that government should be taking away the life blood of its people to develop ever-growing social programs is one step in that direction. Be conscious of history and your constitution.
I am neither afraid nor worried because I know that God is in control and no matter what man does, he will ultimately prevail and I am his.
My hope is for Israel to stay strong, vigilant and bold. I also pray that there will be a spiritual awakening amongst all Jews as they grow closer to the only true God as Pastor Ortiz has so well said.
By the way, yes I am waiting for my Messiah and savior to return to gather his ransomed. One of my Jewish friends recently challenge me by asserting that Jesus was not the messiah, he was just following the prophecies, he had a road map to follow. Really, can you find one prophecy that he didn’t fulfill? Don’t you think that it would take more than a miracle to pull that off? Please show me even one prophecy that he did not fulfill. Paul was a Pharisee and a major persecutor of the Jesus followers; he was a major player in having Stephan stoned. He spoke clearly of his conversion and his commitment to bringing the good news to the Gentiles, praise God.

Your question was asking what can be done to improve Israel’s image abroad. I suggested that Israel must have its own 24/7 international TV news and information station. Having read all the responses, barring my suggestion, I read of no other that had anything to do with improving Israel’s image abroad. Angry defiance: yes. Even relating the wishes of The Great One: yes. But as for showing the world Israel as it really is and not a Nazi-like race, jack-booting the so-called ‘Palestinians’ I was surprised at the paucity of the suggestions.
So I ask your correspondents to all write to the Israeli government asking them to rush an Israeli TV station into being.

Henry Fedderman sees a potential Israeli International TV news station as a counterbalance to Aljazeera.
In fact, this Arab TV station is far more pro-Israeli than the BBC, ITV, Paris 24 or Russia Today. The .necessity to present Israel to the world as it really is seems lost on the Israeli government.

What a question! The question should be “WHAT SHOULD OTHER COUNTRIES DO TO COME TO THE AID OF ISRAEL?” For too long Israel has been considered the hostile nation against the Palestinians; she has been accused of stealing lands that are rightfully hers to claim, and all bad things that happen to other countries are the Jews’ fault. Israel should do NOTHING to change. The other countries should be doing the changing.

In Britain one of our largest chains of supermarkets is refusing to take Israeli goods unless it can be proved they came from Israel and not the ‘occupied lands’.British people are showing resistance to Israeli goods because they believe it to be an apartheid country. Further, many travel agents will offer trips only to ‘The Holy Land’ because of Israel’s reputation. Israel must improve its image or lose tens of millions of dollars in lost trade and tourism. Even at our top universities Israeli Ministers and intellectuals are shouted down.
Israel MUST act and act now before the damage is permanent
