Long ago, Professor Lozowick convinced me that there is no future for Israel in seeking peace with the Arabs until there is first a real change in the Arabs’ position indicating that they want peace. So far, nothing has indicated that there is such a change.
However, something may be happening. The fictitiously named UN Human Rights Council says that they want to investigate the human rights significance of the acts of the Syrian government in murdering its own citizens. Supposedly, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and some other anti-Israeli Arab countries voted for the investigation.
I would not put any faith in this. But if they actually do investigte and actually do come up with a balanced report, then there may be a start by the Israel haters in the right direction.

sadly, only that they will agree to cause Israel further harm. In the word of G-d it is clear that Israel will always be ‘haunted’ by the children of Ishmael (see genesis 16), unless, as the word declares in the ‘new covenant’, Y’shua draws them to salvation and Israel returns to worship G-d and live in obedience to Him, these dangerous times will continue. Yet, for the children of Israel, the Lord Our G-d has not forgotten His people and will surely save them when they turn to Him and seek Him with all of their heart. I pray that the nation of Israel will realise that weapons will never prosper, as in the days of Moses, and Joshua, David & Solomon, Jehosaphat, and others, when the people cried out to the Lord their G-d , He delivered them with a mighty hand, I know He will again, when the people put their trust, completely in Him, and obey His word. I have personally experienced His deliverance and love on many occassions and i am but a gentile who loves the G-d of Israel.

Andrew, I too am a gentile and I too love our Lord – whoever He may be. I stand on the side of Righteousness and I am watching events unfold in Egypt, Syria, Bahrain, Libya and the like and I ponder the impact it will have on our Holy Land of Israel. Israel truly belongs to the Jews as given to them by the Almighty through his humble servant, Moses. But even Moses never set foot on the soil that the Lord G-d because of one little act of disobedience. The Lord G-d is a mighty G-d and the nations surrounding Israel should tremble in fear and respect. I agree, there are Jews in the Egyptian Armed Forces just as there are Christians in the IDF. Christians also live in Gaza but are regarded as Palestinian. So, where does that leave us? We can only hope and pray for those who wish to live in peace, accept the fact that Israel exists and try to co-exist. It is not always possible when most of the sons of Ishmael are hell-bent on destruction of anything Jewish. I do not blame the person, but I do blame the Elders who fan the flames of hatred. 90% of the common Palestinians do not know their history and have to rely on the untruths that is given to them by the Elders and THAT is where the real problem lies. May you be blessed in your quest for truth and i pray that you have the strength to encounter it when you find it.

Israel has always been surrounded by enemies. It has always been outnumbered in battle. Why should we worry about the two closest enemies forming an alliance? They are still enemies and probably disagree more with each other than with Israel. Despite their degree of terror, it is all from the same evil spirits. They both have always only wished to destroy Israel and drive every last Jew from the face of the earth. Fatah never had any wish to form an alliance with Israel for peace; it’s always ever been to drive the Yisraelim out of our covenanted land promised by God to Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov! They came together in a mutual hatred. But, what should we fear? Israel is the Apple of God’s eye! If God be for us, who can be against us?? He’s always watched out for us in the past…and if we’re smart, become wise, and turn out trust to Him, He will never leave us or forsake us – no matter who our enemies, no matter how big and strong they are!

This is the usual religious garbage served cold. 6,000,000 Jews prayed while being exterminated mostly by a gas manufactured for that purpose by French company. Where was the God we call “Shomer Israel?” (The guardian of Israel) How can anyone utter such non-sense while I, a survivor of the Shoa I am still alive? Yom Hashoa is just over and Jews have not learned anything? This non-sense that God is looking over us is pure garbage like the tooth fairy. We can depend on ourself only and no amount of mumbling prayers will save us. Which means we always have to be on the look out for enemies and be ready to defend ourself.

The Almighty, Abba in hashamayim sees you and knows the pain in your heart and life and loves you exceedingly. Whether you believe it or not, He will reveal Himself to you one day because He said so. There are indications that the worst time in history is just ahead of us. If we don’t have complete trust in God, how will we be able to survive then? So many survivors of the Shoah believed in “Shomer Israel” and were indeed saved. Tragedies should bring us to our knees. Trials should make us seek the face of the Almighty and question what we have done to disobey Him (whether we personally, or our forefathers). THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR IN THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL BECAUSE IT WAS GOD WHO GAVE US THE LAND IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! When He ordains something, He will not let anyone just take it away…unless we foolishly give it!! We will do our part – everything we can – in defending our Promised Land, but it is God who will do the rest. Also, how do you explain the miracles of the Yom Kippur War and of 1967 and 1948?? Israel was OUTNUMBERED!!! It was NOT sheer luck!! There are Arabs who have testified to that!! Ask the veterans of those wars who were saved, protected, who saw the enemies flee in terror from unknown, unseen forces!!! Please do not be like the unbelievers of old who refused to listen to the prophets and were, ultimately, cast out of Israel forever! I pray your bleeding, hurting heart will be touched. Know that you are loved by your people and the Father who can only call to His children and hope they turn back to following His ways and say, “We will obey!” He won’t and can’t make anyone obey Him, which is why He is God. He is Perfect. Hamas and Fatah CHOSE to hate. IF WE CHOOSE THE WAY OF HATRED, ARE WE NOT THEN ANY BETTER THAN THEM?? The cause may be genuine, but all hate leads to the same path…DEATH! Let us love, defend, and live our lives to the fullest while we have the privilege to live them!! Life is a gift!
      Lovingly,
      A fellow Yisraelit, 23

The title of the WW1 song says it all for me – “Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition”
