Don Wycliff, former public editor of the Chicago Tribune, participated in a recent letter-writing campaign in support of Muhammad Salah. As Steve Emerson points out, Wycliff used his column in previous years to defend Salah—earning the journalist a community service award from the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago.
