A NY Daily News staff-ed lauds a porn producer who convinced a gay/lesbian center to cancel its Israel Apartheid Week activities:
The locale was the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Center, which has an open policy on letting community groups use its W. 13th St. space for events. But then Michael Lucas, an Israeli-American purveyor of video sex, objected.
He pointed out that Israel is the sole country in the Mideast where something called the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender anything is welcome to exist, and that homosexuality is a capital offense in most of the countries dedicated to destroying the Jewish state.
The center came to its senses and cancelled the event.
