Data Analyst
Location: Israel | Hours: Full-time, Hybrid | Reporting Line: CTO

Summary
The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that support HonestReporting’s AI products. The role combines data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, data quality, and technical collaboration to improve monitoring systems, develop analytical methodologies, and support the organization’s AI-driven products.
Responsibilities
- Analyze media, editorial, and social media data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Translate product requirements into measurable data outputs and analytical solutions that support AI-driven products.
- Validate data quality and investigate inconsistencies across internal systems and external data sources.
- Manage API integrations, ETL processes, and database management.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate findings and support data-informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or an equivalent technical role.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing efficient queries and working with relational databases.
- Experience designing and maintaining dashboards using BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with APIs, ETL processes, and data pipelines is an advantage.
- Experience working with AI products, NLP, media analytics, or data quality validation is an advantage.
