Commenting on the Lebanon crisis, former president Jimmy Carter writes in the Washington Post:
Hezbollah militants then killed three Israeli soldiers and captured two others, and insisted on Israel’s withdrawal from disputed territory and an exchange for some of the several thousand incarcerated Lebanese.
But just a few days ago, the Jerusalem Post wrote:
Only four Lebanese citizens are known to be held in Israel: Samir Quntar, Nissim Nasser, Yehia Skaff and Ali Faratan.
Does Carter know something we don’t?
