The BBC claims the Pope called PA President Mahmoud Abbas “an angel of peace” despite its own 2015 report clarifying that this wasn’t the case.
In a mistranslation, the media wrongly credit the Pope with calling Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas an “angel of peace.”
