AFP’s Mosque Muck Up

January 15, 2013 18:25 by

It says a lot about AFP that the French wire service labels the Tomb of the Patriarchs a “mosque” in a headline.

 AFP

The Palestinians are  already on record saying they’ll use UNESCO decisions to bar Jews from worship at the tomb.  AFP’s brazen whitewash of Jewish ties to the Hebron holy site only furthers that agenda.

I’m not the least bit surprised that the muslims are continuing to lie. After all, taqiyya is part of their “religion”.

They have already stated that Jesus was a muslim!!! LOL. Isn’t that funny how an orthodox rabbi can be a “muslim”?!

Je suis confused (a fringlish joke).

I actually am a bit confused with this article. So… Palestinians are upset that Jews are visiting the holy (set apart) site, which is miss-labled as a “mosque.”

Oh I think I kinda get it now – kinda like how during the Crusades, the Christians took what was Jewish and claimed it for their own, except the difference being that Christians (even insane Crusaders) protected the Jewish sites (side note: can’t say the people were ‘protected’) and the Muslims in contrast made the sites by in-fact damaging them!

i’m really afraid that if Israel doesn’t stand strong and make their own “pre-conditions” (like annexing Judea and Samaria as well as “east” Jerusalem in addition to Jewish holy sites) to having any “peace talks” with the PA or Hamas, Israel will lose everything bit by bit! The Arabs have never before had so many powerful backers and favorable world opinion and for the past 40 years, Israel has come across as weaker and weaker by begging the Arabs to recognize their very existence and accepting crumbs instead of demanding respect!

Dafna, you are ABSOLUTELY correct and that could not have been better said. I like Bibi and he has shown some balls these days BUT maybe it is a time for a Naftali …

Nothing new here: when I was a sub-editor at a press agency during the ‘intifada’ I constantly had to change copy from AFP’s (and others’) Israel correspondents, who would refer to the Temple Mount as simply the ‘third holiest site to Muslims’, to include the fact that it is also the holiest site in Judaism.

I don’t think they are “whitewashing” Jewish ties to Hebron. More like blacking them out!

M, I was impressed with Naftali but he wants to absorb all the Arabs presently living in Judea/Samaria and I think that giving declared enemies of Israel citizenship is a major mistake. Still…

You raised a good point about Naftali. I was not aware of the issue witht he arabs but what the hell else to do with them. Th ebest would b e if they returned to their own homelands but since their homeland are islamic cesspools that are imploding, I doubt any arab would want to return. A bad situation.

As you pointed out; it’s high time Israel says to the world that enough is enough. Israel is a sovereign nation that is not going anywhere. It’s so frustrating for me and I don’t even have to live there. Can only imagine what it is like to be Israeli.

Notre Dame is a mosque, too, it’s just that Agence France Press doesn’t know it yet.

It is absolutely amazing, despite all the archaelogical sites uncovered that proved Jews have lived in the Holy Land for over 3,000 years, that none of the “civilized” world (the UN) recognizes
that Israel is in fact a sovereign nation whereas the arabs (palestinians) are newcomers…Well
Israel is going to have to say to the world…enough is enough……If the Palestinians don’t recognize Israel as a sovereign nation then forget about giving them one more inch of territory and, in fact, should evict them from every bit of land that is rightfully Israel’s. What have the arabs done but teach their children to hate and kill whereas Israel has pioneered medecine,
    technology to better mankind.

Tuvia, savlanut, savlanut. Only a few decades more for Eurislam to become a reality.
Most major Euro cities have hideously large minorities. even in the USA, Satan itself, it has started. Just look at Detroit!
