Exposed: Pallywood Returns to Gaza
November 15, 2012 15:46 by Simon PloskerWhat happens when the cameras turn up at the scene of an airstrike in Gaza and there simply aren’t enough Palestinian dead and injured to produce dramatic footage that can be used against Israel in the international media? We’ve seen it before. Palestinians who appear to be injured or even dead for the benefit of the TV cameras turn out to be nothing of the sort once they are no longer the focus.
This is all the more so in Gaza, where Palestinian stringers are often filming in the absence of international news crews.
The example below is taken from a BBC interview on the targeted killing of Hamas military commander Ahmed Jabari. During the interview (full version here), footage from Gaza is shown. At 2:11 mins in, a Palestinian in a beige jacket and black T-shirt, presumably injured in the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike, is picked up and taken away. Yet at 2:44 mins, the same Palestinian has staged a remarkable recovery.
We’ve taken the relevant footage so that you can see for yourself.
Welcome to Pallywood!

I rate this 2nd in Pallywood lies.
My favorite Pallywood lie was the fake funerals in Jenin
Remember after the Jenin massacre was proven to be a lie.
The Palestinians were going to cemetaries and digging up bodies and talking how they were killed in Jenin. The greatest example of Pallywood, was the Palestinians having fake funerals staged for the media to believe they were killed by Israel. Watch this video of a supposedly dead Palestinian the PLO said was killed in Jenin until the “corpse” falls off and magically regains consciousness. A definite contender for Best Pallywood Video of the Year Award.

Yeah, that’s amazing. Is it bias or the typical laziness of groupthink? Hard to tell. Let’s say journalists aren’t novelists for a reason.
Similarly “tit for tat” on BBC. If it were tit-for-tat, Israel would be hitting Gazan targets daily.

Yes, he changes jumper at some point!!! . I did not at first realise what he was holding, where is the proof it is a child even? All very suspicious but I dont of course want to play down someone’s grieving, whatever side they are on, only, I have just experienced too much “Pallywood” as no doubt many more reading this have, it makes one cynical.

There’s a lot of fishy issues anyway with this supposed incident, as I noted earlier.
Can’t help but be cynical.

The Telegraph UK ran this same video as a genuine “news report” on You TUbe this morning.
CNN Talkback at 6 am this morning P.S.T. had some raghead writer on who as usual claim equivalency with Israel defending itself from Hamas with Hamas missile attacks. Honest Reporting should get on this. The bimbo news anchor suggested Israel was equally to blame.

“Raghead,” “bimbo.” Thanks for helping destroy the cause of Zionism. That’s sarcasm, in case you can’t recognize it. People read these comments and judge issues by how people speak. You’re not at a urinal in a public toilet.

You should have shown the bit between because it’s as bad. A guy is being carried on another’s shoulders. We assume he’s badly injured. But at the end of the dolly run he just stands up and surveys the scene. A casual observer might think it was the rescuer but look again. Is it stupid to think we’re so stupid?

This presentation would have been much effective to have a still photo taken out of the video where we can take time to look at the man, to be sure that it is the same man that later is recovered.
It is, but it took me 5 watching, and stopping the video to look.

What never ceases to amaze me is how these people who are supposedly traumatised and have lost loved ones manage to stand in front of the cameras. Pallywood, all reports and footages that come out need to be forensically examined and investigated because I am sure if you analyse and scrutinise many of these incidents they just do not stack up. I could be very wrong but have just been on the beeb and have looked at theGaza journo who is supposed to have lost his son in Israeli strike an 11 month old baby. I could be wrong but to me it did not stack up. I bring this one up tongue in cheeck because I do not want to be spreading lies but it did not ring true to me needs verification.

I don’t understand your incredulity . Jesus, as you know, or at least as the Palestinians maintain, is ” one of us” so…., if he could arise from the dead why can’t this guy arise from the wounded or the “dead” from the earlier “prequels” to this collection of truth .( Jesus being one of them is another story altogether . A fellow who lived his entire life as a Jew and died due to a political not religious situation more than 2000years ago, used by some character approximately 40 years later, calling himself Paul since his original, given name (Saul) seemed”too Jewish”, is claimed by a , an amalgamation of Egyptians, Saudis , Jordanians and some Syrians established as a”people” post 1967 to be henceforth known as “the Palestinians”claiming ,an existing culture and heritage stretching back 7-8000 years . ( perhaps because the Jews of isreal prior to 1948 and the area itself were so re-named Palestinians and Palestine by the Romans way back 2000 years ago and so remained , not that the Romans did , thank G-d. So yes, Jesus may have been called or referred to as a Palestinian but ONLY because and by roman fiat , because he was and remained a JEW , his life through . (He was no established of new religions , no enabler of closer relations to and with G-d, and the”son” of G-d , about as much as we all are .”Paul is the culprit who used his identity as a pretext to “minister” to the non Jewish world , converting some to his concepts which in and of themselves all eminate from the Jewish religion, inclusive of its laws and morale teachings .

The BBC are so flagrantly biased against Israel, it is barely believable! They appear to have NO correspondent based in Israel since Tim Franks left (did he fall or was he pushed?) and no correspondent in the West Bank BUT they have a full-time correspondent in Gaza, John Donnison. Since his predecessor was kidnapped, it is highly unlikely that he would say anything bad about Gaza! The only other BBC coverage of the Middle East is from stringers or from the Middle East “editor” (whatever that is), Jeremy Bowen, who is about as unbiased as Josef Goebbels.

The BBC is in very hot water right now because of its biased coverage and egregious unethical behaviour. You would think that they would be particularly careful right now not to participate in Soviey style journalism. Shame on the BBC. No licence fees. Publish the BALEN report.

The BBC is also reporting that the 11month old son of one of their BBC Arabic picture editors based in Gaza was killed in an Israeli air strike. The man brings his child wrapped in a shroud out on to the street where he is surrounded by a crowd, and conveniently, a reporter with cameras and microphone to get his story. His response is dramatically ‘What did my son do to die like this?’
The interview can be seen here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-20340810
Is this what a father does just after his child has been killed?
Where’s the mother?
Since Israel drops warning leaflets, why was he and his son there?
Could he be ‘editing pictures’ for the effect he wants to produce?

While Jenin and Mohammed Al Dura Pallywood presentation are the award winners, I particularly love when an ambulance magically appear moments after a supposed attack and then young Pally’s are carried to them only to be let off ten feet later to run back and be carried again to other ambulances.

PLEASE TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: STOP WITH ALL THE FAKE PHOTOS SHOWING MOTHERS RUNNING WITH THEIR CHILDREN AS IF THEY WERE IN DANGER OR CARRYING PEOPLE AS IF THEY WERE HURT. WHY IS THAT THE WORLD DOES NOT SAY ANYTHING OF SO MANY MISSILES THROWN IN ISRAEL MAKING ALL THE CIVILIANS STAY IN HORROR NOT KNOWING WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THEM AND I DID NOT READ ANYTHING ABOUT IT. OH HOW TERRIBLE THIS IS FOR BOTH SIDES. THE BBC REPORTERS MUST BE BLIND NOT TO SEE THE TRUTH AND AROUSING THE WORLD IN A BAD SENSE ONLY DEFENDING ONE SIDE IAM SO SORRY AN SAD.

I believe the pictures were from Cast Lead, I’m nusure. However, there was foiotage shown of a badly wounded Fakestiniand, who was pulled up and laid on a stretcher to take him to the waiting ambulance. While ,he was being carried on the stretcher, he fell off and began to walk briskly, believing the cameras had stopped rolling.
What must be understood regarding the reporting from Gaza, Lebanon, anywhere in the Islamic world in fact, is the danger in reporting facts, which the people consider unsavoury. Fact or fiction, matters not. Just do not report anything damaging to the “cause”, or you will pay with your life for your stupidity.
And still the BBC and others consider this as truth
