Your Daily Dose of Moral Equivalence

March 15, 2011 9:53 by

This headline in The Guardian suggests real Palestinians were quoted condemning the Itamar massacre.

But here’s the extent of the “shock” and “anger” on the Palestinian side of the divide Harriet Sherwood describes:

The murder of the Fogel family has devastated Israel, and shocked many Palestinians. The Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, described the killings as “inhuman and immoral”.

Who comes up headlines like this?

The BBC also claims that “many” Palestinians were “shocked”.

That headline is surreal. In Sherwood’s mind the Palestinians are about to put on a Glee-type performance for the Israelis of High School Musical’s “We’re All In This Together”!!

Neither the BBC or The Guardian make any mention of people in Gaza handing out sweets and celebrating the atrocity. Ignoring the facts and covering for terrorists is what they do!

Go on Guardian on line- whenever there is an Israeli topic they always seem to close the discussion on a negative Israeli comment!

    So I am not surprised.
