Two Years and Still Waiting

It’s been two years now since Cpl. Gilad Shalit was kidnapped by Palestinians in an early morning attack near the Kerem Shalom crossing on the southern end of the Gaza Strip.

Coincidence or not, Nicholas Sarkozy happens to be in Israel during this anniversary. That’s notable because the Shalits are dual Israeli-French citizens.
