Haaretz discovered that the effects of Qassam barrages on the people of Sderot aren’t pretty:
Almost half the parents and one-third of the children in Sderot are suffering from post-traumatic stress, according to a study released yesterday. According to Professor Molly Lahad, director of the Mashabim center of Tel Hai Academic College, which conducted the research, “15 percent of the children in the town ages two and up are suffering from severe post-traumatic stress syndrome, which expresses itself in real difficulties in functioning.”
Except for today’s editions of two Canadian papers (the Toronto Star and the Globe & Mail), the general lack of interest from the Western media is, to say the least, inconsistent.
