Home Demolition Royally Requested

YNet News reports an unusual Jordanian request for Israel to demolish an illegal Palestinian structure built on state land in Jerusalem:

Jordan has asked that Israel demolish a Palestinian structure in Jerusalem that was built on property once owned by the Jordanian royal family.

In 1966 the late King Hussein began construction on a lavish palace at the site, but the Six Day War interrupted his plans; the palace’s foundation remains standing to this day.
