After Mahmoud Abbas told CNN he might dismiss the Hamas cabinet, AP reports that Hamas responded by threatening to end the cease fire arranged by Abbas last year. Unfortunately, AP incorrectly suggests that Israel is a party to that truce:
Hamas angrily rejected a warning by the moderate Palestinian president Monday that he could dismiss its month-old government, threatening to scrap a truce with Israel if he does.
As we pointed out in the past, the hudna is an internal Palestinian affair.
