UPDATE
Shortly after the publication of this post, PBS Newshour issued the following correction:
PBS Newshour on July 22 included a report on an Israeli demonstration in Tel Aviv over gay rights.
According to PBS Newshour, the demonstration took place in “the capital of Tel Aviv.”
Of course, whether or not one recognizes Jerusalem’s status, Tel Aviv is clearly not Israel’s capital and saying otherwise is not only factually incorrect but is politically biased.
We’ve sent a complaint to PBS Newshour asking for a correction. Please do the same by sending an email to [email protected] referring to the segment at 6 mins 40 seconds in.
