Is Iranian President Raisi’s New Gov’t “Conservative”? (VIDEO)

Iran has a new president, Ebrahim Raisi, and with him a new cabinet. Raisi, who stands accused of overseeing the execution of thousands of dissidents, has installed General Ahmad Vahidi as interior minister.

Vahidi headed a Revolutionary Guards unit, known as the Quds Force, which was implicated along with Hezbollah in the 1994 bombing of a Jewish center in Argentina. 85 people were killed and hundreds more wounded.

Raisi also appointed Hossein Amir-Abdollahian as foreign minister. According to Reuters, Amir-Abdollahian is close to both Hezbollah and the Revolutionary Guards. Both are designated as terror groups by the United States.

Nevertheless, AP, the Washington Post and Fox News described Raisi’s cabinet as “conservative.”

Iran’s president has met with high-ranking”officials” from Hezbollah, Hamas and other terrorist groups.
