Israeli forces on Tuesday morning raided a Nablus bomb factory, killing multiple Lions’ Den operatives including Wadee al-Houh, the terror group’s top commander. The counterterrorism operation came barely two weeks after Jerusalem urged the Palestinian Authority (PA), which is responsible for security in Area A of the West Bank, to act against the threat emanating from Nablus.
Ramallah has consistently skirted its obligations under the Oslo Accords, with PA Health Minister Mai al-Kaila even sending “praises and respect” to the Lions’ Den, necessitating Israeli action against the terror group.
