PIJ Announces Another Suspected Child Soldier Death

A new suspected PIJ child soldier raises the number of deceased recorded October 7 War minor combatants to 32.

By October 25, 2026

Palestinian Islamic Jihad may have announced on Friday that another minor slain during the October 7 War was an operative of its Al-Quds Brigades.

The terrorist organization included Muhammad Adel Musa Al-Razayna among the operatives in its Friday casualty announcement, listing him as a member of the Northern Brigade’s Martyr Muqallad Hamid Battalion.

Palestinian casualty databases detail two people with a similar name, a three-year-old and a 16-year-old. Additional open-source information indicates that the 16-year-old was the same person as the PIJ terrorist. Social media posts relating to a person with the same name by family members present an individual with a similar appearance.

The Musa eulogized on social media had two brothers who also appeared in eulogies as militants. One of the apparent brothers, Abdul Malik Adel Al-Razayneh, was named as a terrorist in an August 14 martyr poster. He was also in the Northern Brigade’s armor corps.

With the inclusion of Musa, the number of child soldiers recorded by HonestReporting rose to 32. Twenty-four of the minor combatants also belonged to PIJ, but Hamas and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine have also been documented to have deployed children during the war.
