Canadian Server Removes Terror Sites

An internet watchdog finally succeeded in getting three Hamas and Hezbollah web sites removed from Canadian servers.

Jonathan Halevi’s pressure on the Montreal-based server, iWeb, got a boost from recent CBC coverage.

Although these three sites were hosted in Canada, the Jerusalem Post notes:

According to HaLevi, as much as 95% of online activity powered by terrorist organizations, including al-Qaida and Hamas, is hosted by American servers.

“It’s amazing because al-Qaida organizations use American infrastructure to promote an ideology of hate against America…. and American companies do nothing about it,” he said.
