CBS Anchorwoman: Synagogue Attack Took Place at “Contested Religious Site”

An anchorwoman on the CBS This Morning program refers to the site of the Jerusalem synagogue terror attack as a "contested religious site."

To add to the many media gaffes that took place following Tuesday’s horrific terror attack comes this from the CBS This Morning news show. Introducing a report from Jerusalem, anchorwoman Nora O’Donnell says the following:

The two Palestinian attackers died in a shootout with police. It happened at a contested religious site in Jerusalem.

There is, of course, nothing “contested” about the Har Nof synagogue where the terror attack took place. Nor is there anything “contested” about Har Nof itself, a Jewish neighborhood in the western side of Jerusalem.

UPDATE

CBS has removed the clip from its website, presumably in response to anger generated by our expose. Unfortunately for CBS, we archived the clip of Nora O’Donnell’s gaffe, which you can see here:
