Fox News Amends Misleading Ceasefire Headline

Following a request from HonestReporting, Fox News amends a misleading headline that placed doubt on who rejected a Gaza ceasefire.

By July 15, 2014

Fox News‘ report on the proposed ceasefire accepted by Israel but met with rockets from Hamas used this misleading headline:

foxnews150714

There is only one side that rejected the ceasefire and the headline should have made this clear.

Following correspondence between HonestReporting and Fox News, the headline has been updated:

foxnews150714ii

Credit to Fox News for making the correction so promptly.
