Reporters Without Borders condemns the death of two “journalists” in Gaza violence. Gunfire killed Suleyman Al-Aashi and Mohammed Mattar Abdu of the recently launched pro-Hamas paper, Filistin.
We regret the senseless deaths too, but don’t call them journalists. Press freedom organizations have trouble distinguishing between legitimate news services and propaganda arms.
