Hezbollah’s media capability has grown and adapted since the Second Lebanon War. OMedia writes:
Hezbollah’s media empire includes satellite stations, radio stations, websites and even print media. Hezbollah understands that words and images have power, affecting both sides of the conflict, therefore it makes use of clear and focused messages….
“The media,” adds Dr. Erlich, “must improve its ability to handle Hezbollah, primarily in information dissemination, including in fields where Hezbollah has a monopoly or a near monopoly. The media must approach information disseminated by Hezbollah critically.”
