HR Prompts Telegraph Correction to ‘Tel Aviv Government’ Error

The Daily Telegraph removes a reference to the "current government in Tel Aviv" following a complaint from HonestReporting.

The Daily Telegraph published an excellent editorial taking UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn to task for his disdain towards Israel, particularly in light of this week’s Balfour Declaration centenary commemorations.

However, it also included the following:

 

 

Of course, there is no “current government in Tel Aviv” as the Israeli government operates from its capital city Jerusalem.

The Daily Telegraph promptly removed the reference to Tel Aviv following correspondence from HonestReporting.
