In an interview with an Israeli official, a BBC World Service reporter made the assertion that Iranian threats to Israel were old news and had not been repeated for many years. Yet days before the interview, huge crowds took to the streets of Iran to burn Israeli flags and chant “Death to Israel,” all with the encouragement of Iran’s leaders.

Downplaying the very real and current Iranian threats to Israel is dangerous, especially as the public evaluates the Iranian nuclear agreement. That is why we will be filing a complaint with the BBC.
