The UK Press Complaints Commission ruled that journalists can call Israel an apartheid state. That’s how the PCC responded to a complaint filed by our colleagues at CAMERA over a two-part report by The Guardian’s Chris McGreal. The paper’s reader rep, Ian Mayes, further dismissed CAMERA, saying:
In general, the methods employed by Camera seem to me to go beyond a reasonable call for accountability.
This is the same PCC that saw no problem with a cartoon of Ariel Sharon devouring Palestinian babies.
