Miriam Margolyes is a British and Australian comedian, writer, and actress who has received many awards, including a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress, and Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2002 New Year Honours for Services to Drama.
Unfortunately, she is also a textbook case of someone who should stick to acting. A vehement hater of the Jewish state despite being Jewish herself, she has constantly put her foot in her mouth, like:
- Saying she does not think Israel should have ever been brought into existence
- Condemning “stupid” Israel for for allowing people to “vent antisemitism”
- Expressing the wish that then UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson die from Coronavirus

For those who don’t know, “high yellow” (sometimes rendered “high yaller”) is a dated and offensive U.S. slang term for a Black person with a light complexion.
It is no wonder proud Jewish actress Maureen Lipman refuses to work with Margolyes. Maureen also had this to say about her:
“She’s a very successful leftwing socialist with several houses. Take my point. Need I say more.”
Touche!
I would just add that Margolyes being racist is a feature, not a bug, when it comes to “Free Palestine” activists.
