Following the promotion of a series of Palestinian propaganda maps (see below), MSNBC has broadcast a partial “apology” albeit only admitting that the first of the series of maps was inaccurate. You watch this here:

In an outrageous incident of bias, MSNBC / NBC News reporter Ayman Mohyeldin was reporting live from the scene outside Jerusalem’s Old City where a Palestinian dressed in camouflage fatigues and armed with a knife broke through Israeli police lines and was shot dead attempting to escape.
Mohyeldin’s live commentary was such a distortion of reality that NBC News anchorman Jose Diaz-Balart was forced to intervene and correct Mohyeldin’s version of events when confronted with the video footage that had just been taken from the scene.
This included countering Mohyeldin’s claim that the Palestinian he saw running away from police didn’t have a knife in his hand. As seen from this screenshot of the footage, this was clearly wrong.

Meanwhile, Fox News picked up on the incident, leading with Mohyeldin as a prime example of the media bias surrounding so much of the coverage of the current wave of Palestinian terrorism afflicting Israel.
But MSNBC’s overt anti-Israel bias didn’t end there. In a segment the following day (October 16), Kate Snow and Martin Fletcher presented a shocking piece of Palestinian propaganda in the form of a series of maps that are a favorite prop for anti-Israel activists.
As for Snow and Fletcher’s jaw-dropping commentary:
Kate Snow: If you look at the map, we have a map that shows historically the areas that used to be Palestine in 1946 and then the UN plan there and then as it shrunk down to basically Gaza and the West Bank, right, and then present. So what does that show you, Martin, that the area where Palestinians are living, has it grown increasingly smaller?
Martin Fletcher: Well absolutely, of course, this is what it’s all about. It’s all about the land and what this map shows you. I must say it’s pretty shocking when you present it in this way. What it clearly shows is that if there’s no peace agreement between the Palestinians and Israel, more of those green areas, more of that Palestinian land will be eaten up by Jewish settlements. Although right now there is a freeze on settlements by Israel because there’s so much international pressure, the Palestinians say if we don’t have peace soon we won’t have a Palestine left.
Kate Snow: And the Israelis say, we have every right to be in all of these areas.
A full debunking of these maps was produced by the Elder of Ziyon blog as far back as 2012. Needless to say, the maps lack any historical context whatsoever.
The Fox News video asked whether NBC News has an Ayman Moyheldin problem. We would suggest that NBC News has a far deeper problem when it comes to Israel and Moyheldin is merely a symptom of that.

The media bias on the MSM is outrageous! I don’t think the word bias is strong enough for the lies and prejudice that they spew! It’s hatred and deceit!
In the States, the MSM has always been ruthless towards Republicans and turned a kind yet blind eye on the Democrats. I never realized that until obama hit the scene. I was never political until obama (whom I usually refer to as -0-) hit the scene.
Until now, at least publicly, the Presidents of the United States were friends with Israel. With -0-, the gloves are off and Israel & conservative Americans are the terrorists of the world.
When I first saw -0-, the thoughts that struck me were: he’s a muslim sleeper cell and he was put into our Oval Office to help destroy Israel and bring us to our knees. I still don’t think I was wrong. But it has to be stopped! And NO ONE will stand up to him.
Denying reality does not make it less real. During the entire period of the British Mandate, there were significantly fewer Jews living in the area west of the Jordan valley than non-jews. The 1947 UN partition attempted to divide the mandate into more or less equal Jewish and “Arab” states. The arab side rejected the partition and in the 1948 war Israel acquired land that was on the Arab side of the partition. In 1967, the Arabs provoked another war and Israel occupied all of the lands of the Palestinian Mandate as well as Sinai and the Golan. At that time it was not the intent of the Israeli government to keep all that land. The intent was to return the land in exchange for peace. Again, the Arab side rejected the Israeli offer. It was only then that Israeli settlements were started on what had been Arab land. Settlements were not intended to be expansions of Israel, but rather defensive positions to prevent future invasions.
Unfortunately, many of those who settled on Arab land did so for religious reasons and consider this Jewish land based on the Bible. Their influence has resulted in an Israeli government that wants to keep all of the remaining land acquired in the 1967 war. It implements its policy by building more housing units on what had been “Arab” land.
Of course, we are then outraged when the nonJews on the land use violence in asserting their rights.
Without justice there can be no peace.
Oh, yes I saw that footage. Hard to dispute. A man was running away down the steps with a knife-like object and was gunned down by at least five IOF agents in cold blood. What it clearly shows, was a street exectution. He could have been shot in the leg, stood trial and aided IOF agents in discovering the “source” or “command” for the stabbings. But justice is not a concern in E. Jerusalem, Israel, or the occupied territories. If you are Palestinian that is. For speculating this “uprising” might have something to do with 50 years of brutal occupation would earn any US media anchor stern reprisals, sanction and even termination in our Israeli-centric, AIPAC, ACLU dominant and double-standard conditioned US media.
Whats the point? Jewish lives just don’t matter.

MSNBC has less than 5% viewership and is dropping. FOX is the most watched and most trusted source int he USA. This problem will correct itself as long as FOX keeps up the excellent coverage.

MSNBC is one the oft quoted sources for the biased anti-Israel liberals in the USA. This media ” news source” is constantly distorting facts with an anti Israel message. The public does not realize the extent of lies and distortions against Israel.coming from MSNBC It no longer appears to be a liberal news spiner but in the past year has been so overtly trying to destroy Israel by turning their readers into “haters” of Israel. Al Jazeera has more of an honest picture of the situation than does MSNBC .MSNBC will be a tresured resource for the Caiphate in the USA.
The Western media like to hire Palestinian Arabs as their reporters and cameramen. That is one of the reasons why the reporting is so biased against Israelis. We seem to be witnessing a new chapter: an impostor dressed as journalist was trying to murder a soldier. I don’t see any reason asto why pro-terrorist “journalists” like Ayman Mohyeldin wold not turn full fledged terrorists.
There was no State of Palestine in 1946. There had been a Birtish controlled area there. An international Charter restored Israel to their land. God restored the land of Israel to the Jewish people, but they don’t beleive in God, and that is their problem. And there is only one God, revealed to to Israel, and to the rest of the world through them, and their Messiah.

I am hopeful that NBC will correct the glaring biases in its reporting in Israel. It is a blight on its news reputation when another news anchor has to offer correction to a news report of a colleague newscaster. I also hope that correct maps can be used and that bias reporting can be stopped.

It seems the Media cannot regulate itself to present a true and honest reporting.
Responsible and honest reporting has been replaced with ambiguous confusing and illusory news reports, with no regard to the consequences. Facts and sources are not properly verified and an inaccurate unsubstantiated news story gets released to the public, and that may cause substantial harm.
Why is the Media not charged with incitement?
Why is the Media not punished for staging a scene?
They pay some individuals to throw stones at soldiers in order to film a reaction and sensationalize the episode with distorted fabricated reports. There are numerous staging of events by the Media that incite hatred and violence. Should the reporters and their management not be charged with incitement?

Whether we like it or not, the masses are influenced by the Media, could you imagine how children and young adults absorb the Media hype, regardless weather it is truth or illusion. The damage is long term and may not be reversible.
Children are very impressionable, they think what they see on TV emulate real life, which we know is distorted and make believe, they carry these illusions as reality which affects their future adversely.
The Media reporting must be neutral, unbiased, balanced, objective and impartial. Violators should be subject to fines and criminal charges if people suffer due to intentional distortion of reports or intentionally slanted news to deceive or promote favoritism that escalates into violence and or cause harm and or financial loss.
When a Media outlet intentionally distorts and misinforms the news and events, it should forfeit the right to free speech and free press and face the music. It is a form of incitement.
In the past decades Media outlets have expanded the creation of sensationalism to promote readership and revenues. These types of reports are many times intentionally distort the facts and true dimension of the report. Thus, it creates more unwarranted dissension and crisis that leads to violence and death.
It seems that the Media today has no emotion, no compassion. Much of the news is choreographed for the sake of sensationalism and rating. Which comes down to increased revenues and financial gain? Society today is so hungry for money, power, instant gratification and glamour, that it crosses the line of honesty and integrity on a regular basis.
Is there a chance of going back to honor, honesty, integrity and fighting for truth and justice the old American way?
Can the Media Overcome false showmanship, artificial presentation and insincerity.
Broadcasting truth and reality, thereby regaining public trust in the Media?
This very same rebuke and standards must be applied to our elected government officials, who will promise you anything to get elected. Getting them to live up to their promises is another thing altogether.
A change for the better must be initiated and it must start at the top.

MSNBC has always been known for biased super left leaning and antiIsrael spinning of every ” news ” report . Now the organiztion has progressed to absolute fabrication of reality. They use lies from the Arab media and Palestinian propaganda sources without checking for the truth ,add the MSNBC antiIsrael spin then present it as honest news . They hide all reports that show the truth. They are more antiIsrael than any Islamic news source. At that point ,I can clearly see that MSNBC is and has been on a crusade against Israel. At this level of hate,I suspect it is an antisemitic crusade.
Nbc “might” discipline that reporter, and may even remove him ,but bet your life they will put someone else just as bias in his place. They seem to thrive on sensationilisom and over past years you can see their wrong reports that have come out of Israel.
May be someone is getting backhanders from the PA. This problem is now a world wide one as the muslim tentacles reach out around the world with their hate and death crusade.
